In a moments notice the sound of creaking catapults ended the calmness, then the scream of a dozen massive balls of rock sailing through the sky. Seconds later they passed the gate, and with a crash the beautiful white buildings of Monte Cristo were barraged with the many catapult shots.
The united soldiers stayed strong as Sixteen turned his body to look at the damage. It seemed the first wave had done some damage, but only minimal. Nothing had hit the keep, or any other major structures. Looking upwards, he caught the eye of his co-commander Gokua standing on a rather large building calling out orders.
?Gokua, return fire with the artillery! Then shift positions and hit them again,? the android boomed, shouting the order as loud as he could.
