The ongoing projectile warfare did not dawdle for one moment; catapults were continually being restocked with random objects, and then used, repeating the tedious process. It was a tactic that was used many years in the past, and was seemingly useful during the battle. Dante?s projectile weapons were guarded by the army itself?in its entirety, while United?s projectiles were under the control of one man. It was not a sign of careless planning by United however; Gokua was a highly respected man, with the prestige men followed, and would willingly throw their bodies into harm?s way to protect.
?Continue the assault!? the alien roared with great tenacity. ?Do not allow them to get comfortable!?
Shots boomed across the sky. The shells that the artillery weaponry used left whistling sounds for all to be deafened by. Powder emerged from the heavy use of multiple shells, and it loomed over Monte Cristo, leaving many soldiers gasping for precious oxygen. The catapults? relentless launching of debris and other objects cast a soft layer of smog into the air. It sprinkled down upon the battlefield. Gokua stood tall, however, not intimidated by the countless pressure, and not left weakened by the waste the filled polluted the air. He was feeling the effects, but refused to allow himself to be thought as a frail man in the eyes of his men. He kept his posture, looking over the battlefield below, gazing at the Dante projectile unit, in particular.
Then abruptly, an idea struck him; he was failing to use the catapults to their full potential. ?Catapult unit, cease fire!? He yelled, raising his hand into the air as he paced back to the catapult soldiers. The oiled mechanics of rhythm ceased, and the troops took a look at their commander, wondering why he decided to stop the operation. ?Someone, bring me the Pyrokinesis soldiers up here, pronto!?
A few random soldiers stopped their duties and ran down to the dreaded ground level to fulfill their commander?s wishes. Gokua waited, but it did not take long for the soldiers to return, Pyrokinesis soldiers with them.
The alien smiled. ?Now, you, the Pyrokinesis specialists,? he said directing them to the catapults. Gokua looked at a group of soldiers. ?You people, place the next object in the catapult?s holster. They did what he commanded. ?Now, I want you to light this chunk of shit on fire.?
One of the Pyrokinesis specialists looked at Gokua awkwardly, but did not dare to defy him. He outstretched his hands and set his hands ablaze with fire. Quickly, he transferred the flame to the object, lighting it.
?Now, launch this directly at the catapult units of Dante!? Gokua roared, walking away. ?I want this executed from now on!? His voice left its presence with the men, motivating them to do what he commanded. ?Artillery unit!? he exclaimed. ?I want you all to direct your fire at the projectile unit of Dante! Attack relentlessly!?
He shipped his cloak tightly around his body, and returned back to the spot he had become quite fond of, and watched his new plan executed?to the exact intentions he had in mind.
