Can I ask this: why have a time jump?

The only solid answer so far has been "because it'd be cool."

Using that same oversimplification, I could say that the only four, maybe five people that I've seen against have said "No, b/c I want things to stay exactly the way they are and I refuse to mold my character at all." Neither are very fair.

Violet, SB, what I was meaning up there was that with you guys being against the reset, I kinda expect you to be against anything else involving the reset by nature. Similar to if you showed up at a testing area for "What kind of syrup do you want on your waffle" and you said "I don't like waffles" and then when asked about the type of syrup, you say "... I don't want syrup". So yeah, we know your stance, and are hoping to make the decision for who is best for everyone.

I'm still weirded out how there are only a couple of people that are saying against in the thread and tons for, yet the poll itself is more even (with less "for" people being shown than the posts, and more "against")

Of all the people to talk about over-simplification or hyperbole. *Snicker*

Besides, it was just a joke. I've already stated I'd help, wether or not I liked the idea.

And how are you weirded out? Most people vote silently. It's so as to avoid being berated for their opinions by, say, you. =\
