Pro:

-Removes logical difficulties with the sudden and violent changes that will take place.
- Provides Role playing opportunities
- Sets mental state towards starting anew
- Makes life much easier for custom players to integrate their characters.
- Allows for a great deal of freedom toward "world creation" for the staff
- Allows people switching characters "time" to get their canon to where they invisioned them before switching.

Cons:

- Inconveniences current story lines
- Makes life difficult for canon players to keep their characters attached to the sudden shift in time/focus
- May force canon characters to compromise storyline/character themself in order to remain integrated
- Some players will find "bullshit" excuses as their only solution to explaining away the otherwise awkward shift
- Will require a great deal of work on the staff's part to build a 5-10 year history of what happened before the reset.
- The stat reset will also require a bit of creativity to mesh out why, say, Raditzu isn't a fuggin powerhouse anymore.
