Into the Future

[Super Buu]

The only person I haven't been civil with in this thread is Reijin. Respect is a two-way thing, and I'm frankly sick of being treated with sarcasm. If someone can't be bothered to keep their cool with me, why should I? Everyone else in this thread can manage to argue civilly, so why can't he?

I think this hurts the people that are waiting till the reset to post up the 100 pages they have saved on their computer that they were storing for afterwards to get a boost.

Is everyone uniquely voting, or using multiple computers to add votes? I ask this b/c only 17 people have responded to this, and yet the votes are completely inflated past that. I notice a ton of random votes in CPW, too, which is why I never bother to run an actual poll since the numbers are never correct.

Are you talking about the RRA storyline? Haven't you been working on that for like a year and a half now? I thought you had finished it by now, to be honest.

Violet, SB, what I was meaning up there was that with you guys being against the reset, I kinda expect you to be against anything else involving the reset by nature. Similar to if you showed up at a testing area for "What kind of syrup do you want on your waffle" and you said "I don't like waffles" and then when asked about the type of syrup, you say "... I don't want syrup". So yeah, we know your stance, and are hoping to make the decision for who is best for everyone.

Bra, you just feel like being a bitch today, or am I just the lucky one?

No, he's not outright insulting people, but up until Bra lost his cool with Reijin's demeanour, almost every single post Reijin made in this thread has had some sarcastic undercurrent. I'm all for humour, but there is a time and a place. At the risk of telling Reijin how to do his job, it's not a good idea to mock your userbase, especially not in a thread like this.

If you look at other threads where I've argued, then I rarely ever lose my cool. In this thread, for example, as others have pointed out to me, I only started to get pissed off when other people can't be bothered to remain civil. Ie:

Reijin has told me, in effect, that he's going to ignore what I'm saying. The whomp is something that staff members tend to use to call members stupid. As is evident by the little smiley I used, I was using it ironically. Even when I'm normally exasperated with someone, I don't do this, but as I said, I'm treating others as they treat me. If you argue respectfully, then I'll do the same.

If you can show me where I've lost my cool without provocation, then I'll apologise. But personally I think you're being rather hypocritical. =/

As for my statements being ambiguous, I'd like to see out of genuine curiosity an instance of where I've done that. I'm not saying you're wrong - the internet is a medium that makes it difficult for anyone to get their message across. But I tend to make sure I'm as clear as possible, and I don't think I'm more guilty of being vague than anyone else.

I'd rather you PM me with the examples, since this thread is pretty badly derailed as it is. I'm curious where you get this stuff, since you say it about me a lot.
