Seriously, though. teachers are a major influence in the lives of children. Similar to the parents' role, teachers instill within young people the values and teachings that they will use for the rest of their lives, thus, shaping thier mentality and making them into productive members of society.

In ranking, they would be just below parents in the importance of children's lives.
