I help out on Chubbs because I like to give people a place to write and I like to think we help people become better writers in the process. If I can have a direct influence on that, all the better.

If you're going to use Zangya's suggestion, make sure to keep believability in mind. If your character is supposed to be 50 years old, its ridiculous for a reader to think they could make a huge shift in who they are over the course of a competition that lasts a few days. In addition, don't blow all of your character development in the course of a few weeks. If you're planning on having this big shift in who Bojack is, do it gradually to make sure you always have something to write about.
