Day One: Afternoon

[Bujin]

Bujin had done it. He showed a moment of weakness. Not only did he get sucker-punched from a girl that should have been dead, he asked a couple figments of his imagination for help. When he thought about it, it wasn?t so bad compared to the massive headache he was experiencing at the time. Raising a shaky hand, he reached behind his head and winced as he felt a warm, sticky fluid. Glancing around, he saw that there was more blood seeping to the ground around him. The chick had got him good. Now he just needed to get to his feet so that he could possibly patch himself up somehow.

?Look, Rae, I?m sorry I snapped at you,? Bujin found himself saying aloud as he struggled to his feet. ?But I need your help.?

?fine, Rae whispered. First of all, are you okay?

?Other than a bashed in head and a battered ego, I?m fine,? Bujin sighed, taking heavy steps towards a tree so he could lean on it. Rae giggled softly.

Why the ego? I thought you did pretty well.

?Well?yeah, I didn?t die,? Bujin began, ?However?I fucking shot her in the gut. I shot her, and she should have died there. But noooo ? she had enough strength to bitch slap me from behind. Do you understand that? I got owned by a girl.?

Bujin heard the lower-pitched chuckle of Nancy, as well. He didn?t say anything, but he did enough to let the blue man know that he had come back with his female counterpart. It was at that moment when Bujin became content with his condition. No matter what he did for the time being; no matter how much he wanted to fight it, one fact still remained. He was going insane.

So what?cha going to do now? Rae inquired.

?Gonna try to find Celipa,? Bujin answered as he shifted his weight to the other foot and started to walk towards a new destination, ?I highly doubt she?s been killed yet.?
