Everything was just trumped again and again. It got ridiculous.

Go play any RPG. The more powerful you get, the more powerful the enemies get, and thus the more powerful you need to get.

Of course, RPG =/= Anime But with a serries that long, you kinda have to expect it to happen. Doesn't mean it's a good thing though, of course. Personally, I havn't watched past the end of the Buu Saga.
