It was still dark out, giving the Namek a chance to move into the building. He cursed himself for leaving the safety of the lighthouse earlier, for now he was injured and his former partner out of the tournament. His back still ached and his walk was impaired, but he was able to move around. The tree branch turned walking cane clanked against the ground with a dead thud to accomany each step. Slowly the old doors of the school slide open and Kami slipped inside unnoticed.
His cane echoed through the lonely hallways as he made his way inside. This was probably going to be his bastion for the time being and he made sure to note the twist and turns of the hallways, not that the building would offer much protection from an angry and injuried Ultra Namek, but nonetheless, having a strategic advantage was vital at this stage.
The hallways were uninvititing, the walls had seen far too many years of neglect. A few holes in the ceiling opened up to another floor, starlight cast through the cracks. For the moment, he was alone again. The stairs presented no challenge greater than they normally would even with the limp. Eventually he found a room with an old couch, it appeared to be a lounge of some sort. He fumbled through the cabnets looking for anything useful but didn't see much of anything right away. An old broken out window framed the cold light whcih crept across the floor. He took a seat on the couch, still nursing the back injury. Hopefully time would give him an advantage, and the building some cover. He wasn't giving up just yet.
