"So what's the plan for the evening?" Reijin inquired towards Bra.
The girl looked up at him and gave him her most irritated expression. "Don't do that," she said, calmly walking alongside him, her bad arm bound close to her chest with a set of vines while her good arm was swinging her shotgun back and forth, holding it ready in the event of an ambush.
The older Saiyan chuckled at her. "Whatever are you talking about?" His own gun was tucked within his belt, kept available for the same reason.
She yawned a bit before fighting out an answer. "That. That bullshit where you try to sound so much smarter than everyone else. It pisses me off." Her tone really didn't hold any anger, despite her words.
Reijin just smirked, continuing his stride as the two entered town. "Is there a doctor in the house?" he called out, making the girl jump.
"Fuck! Why don't you just fucking invite everyone out here to have a party and get our asses killed?" she seethed, glaring at him.
"That's actually my plan. I'm bored, so if someone's here we can kick their ass. If they aren't, then we have a party," he enlightened her.
"The fuck for?" she asked, returning her eyes to the street to find a clinic. "I don't need any party for my birthday," she added. Not that her own father cared.
Reijin pointed down an abandoned street as he found a small building to go to. "Then we shall have one for mine," he mused.
Stopping, the girl gave him a sidelong look. "Yours? When is that?" He just ignored her. "Its not today. There's no way. Quit fucking with me," she added, threatening him.
He looked up and saw the sun descending a bit quicker in the sky, and a looming fog overhead. "Yes, actually. It is today. I'll have seen twenty three years by the night's end. So let me have my fun," he warned her.
To be completely honest, he'd never really given a care about his birthday. To him, it was simply information as to the date a destroyer was created, but he intended to show Bra some form of interest for her's since the hint he'd dropped for her father had been completely missed. The girl seemed to deserve a bit more, and as a fellow warrior-in-arms, Reijin felt the need to respect that.
She didn't seem to care, however, completely not believing him. "Whatever," she dropped, figuring she'd just let the conversation die. "Oh, quit trying so hard to be the father figure just because my own father doesn't care to." Obviously she was a bit more burned from his reaction then she'd let on.
Reijin stepped in front of her, halting her and leaving her to curse as she nearly ran into him. "Look. I don't give a shit about acting like some loving father," he insisted. "The bottom line is that we both apparently share the same birthday. Or damn close to it. Its an odd coincidence. So let's enjoy it and acknowledge it while we are on this planet. It's not like anyone else is around to be forced into it." He jabbed a finger at the door they were at. "Now let's go get you correctly bandaged up." On that note, he turned, grabbing the door knob.
"Fuck you!" the girl burned him, obviously not liking his words. "And you need a bandage more than I do," she added, watching him struggle with the door knob. "Oh, get the fuck out of the way."
Reijin spun around, ready to argue, when he saw an energy beam nearly at him. His eyes widened, and he leapt out of the way as it exploded into the door, leaving a charred hole in its wake. Pushing himself quickly to his feet, he looked at her.
"Well, let's go get bandaged up," she quipped cheerfully.

An hour later, the pair were sitting in a set of executive chairs with their feet propped up on desks, rummaging through the drawers. Bra's arm was properly bound in a sling, and Reijin's head band was returned to his pocket, cleaned and replaced with a true set of bandages. All the proper cleaning had been done, and the two were yawning out of boredom.
"So about that party?" Bra finally asked, realizing that there wasn't much else to do.
Nodding, Reijin rose to his feet. "Yeah, I saw a toy store around the corner we can use."
Before she could question him, he was out the door. She stared at his parting shadow for a few minutes, and finally mumbled to herself. "Well, fuck that. I wanted a party, not to go find toys." As if by instinct, she reached into her bag and pulled out her Reijin doll. "I bet he's looking for some action figure or something so he can play dolls with these."
The water stream caught her directly in the eyes without warning. Throwing herself back and dropping her bag and doll, she cried out in anger. It was a moment before she was back on her feet. "What the hell-" she began, stopping as she threw her arms out to catch a large object that was hurled through the door at her. "-is this?" she finished, looking down.
In her hands was a very, very large Super Soaker. In the doorway was Reijin, holding another large watergun and grinning from ear to ear. Behind him was a bucket full of water balloons. "There's more outside every few feet," he announced, pointing at the bucket. "But this one is for you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" His words were loud as he slammed his foot down on a broom handle, launching the water grenades at the screaming Princess.
The adult child immediately vanished out the door as the girl threw her arms in front of her, threatening a thousand forms of torture in her mind. Finally, she settled on kicking his ass. In a Super Soaker war.
"Oh its fucking on!" she growled, rushing after him, soaked from head to toe.
