When normal people get hungry, their stomach may growl a little. It?s a fairly mild prompt, just enough so that said normal person was aware that their body needed food. When a saiya-jin got hungry, his stomach was kicking and screaming. It wasn?t saying, ?feed me,? it was screaming, ?give me some goddamned food, RIGHT NOW!?
Bardock was ruled by very few things: his love for the fight, his sense of ?moral code,? and most importantly, his stomach. Bored up in his perch, he had consumed the remainder of his food supplies, completely foregoing the need for conservation. All of the jerky was gone. It was only going to last so long anyway.
The fighter bounced his foot, a common nervous habit when trying to curb an inappropriate craving.
It was now the early morning of day five. Twelve contestants left. Having previously been eliminated by now, Bar was feeling pretty good. He wanted in on that big battle royale finale. If a couple of more players got the axe, it would be one giant cage match. The brawler could hardly wait. All he had to do was survive until then.
But in order to survive, you need to eat, his stomach reminded him.
Sleep would not come without food. Peace of mind would not come without food.
In the end, food would win out over common sense. The fog still hung thickly in the air, and to top it off, the sun was still down. Night plus fog equaled doubly impaired vision for partially blind saiyans.
However?
That means everyone?s at a disadvantage. Anybody would be tripping around in the dark?but I?ve got a tracker?
He grimaced. Still, it was a risk. Would anyone else be moving around, fearful of being killed? The grand prize was within reach, and taking chances at this point in the game would go one of two ways.
?Gah, screw it, I?m hungry,? he conceded. He silently dropped to the ground, and began his stealthy lurk.
Somebody?s got to have some food left?
