Bardock

It was like a magic 'heal me' switch that someone pushed at random. The second the battered corpse hit the ground, Bardock's super saiyan body crunched back into place. It wasn't a particularly nice feeling, as the "Ow," could attest, but at least he was in one peice again.

The farming land was littered with corpses, but he stood among them all. The tall saiyan had passed all limitations his body had ever put on him.

He had started as the Hunter, and now he was the Warrior again. The proud warrior he once could call himself.

"Congratulations to #09 Bardock!" Came the annoying, flirty voice from the megaphone. "You have twenty minutes to relax on the island, then we'll bring you in for an exclusive post-game interview and give you your prize money!"

"Whatever," the man said. None of that interested him, but he knew those papers he signed at the start obligated him to follow along.

The real prize was pulsing through him. This beautiful, deadly power was now his.

His saiyan blood. His saiyan power. His saiyan pride.

"Come get some," he whispered one more time.
