Mewtwo is lame because he's the one Pokemon everyone had and trained to lvl 100. I actually beat my cousin's lvl 100 Mewtwo with a lvl 100 Tyranitar numerous times.
Also, that lvl 236(or w/e) Golbat that you get from swimming across the shore of some city is the best Pokemon.
