Although I only watch wrestling occasionally and never really follow it, I was a fan of his. Not a big fan, but a fan. What he showed the people in the ring was him; it was real. He didn't need to be 'the most electrifying man' or a hulk-a-maniac, he just tried his best to make the fans happy. He was a man of stone; a bad ass but a good guy all at the same time....

Hearing what all his peers had to say was...inspirational. I don't know if that sounds weird but it was. Hearing the kind of person he was; not only a few people but to everyone he met. I thought to myself, "Damn, I wanna be like him when I get older." I don't mean that about his physique (although if I had it, I wouldn't complain), I meant it about how he was described. He was said to be caring;self-less and a man of respect. They talked about how he put everything he had into what he did and more. To me that alone earned every ounce of respect I have.

I'm basically rambling now because I tend to talk a lot when I get uncomfortable, so I'm going to stop. Chris Beniot, you will always be remembered and I will always have respect for you. May you along with your son and wife rest in peace.
