Hey, I found Tom's VD forum site, registered on it, and posted in it. He responded:

So, I guess he is planning on putting AD back up. That isn't to say you shouldn't find a domain to use instead. Just thought I'd deliver the message so everyone wasn't in the dark as to what the Hell Tom was doing.
