That's just a product of dated cultural relativism, and its probably something that our grandkids will be saying about us. In general, people do not adapt over the years the way a culture can, and the birth of a world culture could mean revelations that even our, more open-minded, generations won't be able to cope with. It will take people being brought up within that culture to be able to fully appreciate what it has to offer. Just a newer cycle of inborn cultural relativism.

I'm not sure I agree about the Black/Woman president, though. As a symbol, yeah, it will definitely mean something. I think there's too much legislature for them to really enact a great deal of change in the country, let alone the world. I could be wrong (I kinda hope I am, actually), but we won't know until a woman or black person is actually in office.

If Canada and the US and Mexico ever did consolidate to make a single nation, they would probably have decided upon a form of leader beforehand. Be it president, or prime minister. There's no way that wouldn't come up.
