I think this whole "world culture" idea is directly related to the economy and free market, etc. as well as technology to bring together numerous regions from across the globe. But is it realistic to think that regions that aren't actively involved with the global economy will be able to assimilate into this "world culture"? I'm talking about regions such as the Middle East and Africa -- granted most young people in countries like Iran are reported to have "western idealogies". Do you think a global culture will be realistic as it is now? I think that these regions would need severe economic and humanitarian aid to bring them closer to the global economic table in order to truly create this idea of a global culture.
