Dante's Abyss 2006 Hype Thread

[Burter Jr]

Sorta like in your scene, if Rad and 18 were oblivious to your nearby prescence, and you had told the writer you wanted to use SSJ2 tier, you'd bust on and cap them both in the act before they even blink? Or would you contact them first and say "Forewarning: Do you want to use a powerup?"

I wouldn't have known Rad and 18 were nearby either. So if I had said I wanted to go SKK in my next fight, it'd be completely out of safety. It's not like I'd know Rad was nearby so I go SKK.

No, there is no forewarning. If you want to be on the safe side, power-up. If not, don't.

And even though logically you'd be fucked by any power-up against you, x5 or x10 isn't a huge advantage. x20 is a large advantage and x40, you better start crying

And to clarify, there are tools in the weapons list that allow you to get a glimpse of where people are. I won't be revealing anything more then that

Is there going to be a waiting room/ship thing like in the last Dante's Abyss? Someone brought it up on the CU forum, I think it'd be cool to keep. Calm before the storm-type thing.

There will be a 7 day pre-show period as I reveal contestants, starting on June 2nd, leading to June 8th.

So is this going to be on a certain planet and if so, do we need to make our way there before hand, or are we going to be teleported there for free?

Teleported there for free. You'll sign-up in character, and after the sign-ups close I will gradually teleport people as I choose them for the game.
