I don't read much these years. When I do it's explicitly to absorb ideas for my own uses; pretty much the same reason I still watch movies and TV shows. (which is why I'm super judgmental, if I wouldn't use it myself then I think it's not worth the bother)
The Silmarillian is probably the only book I still regularly leaf through, it just has too many good ideas.
