Gears of War 2

Liking what I've played so far. I just took the Grindshaft down the Inner Hollow, so I'm not very far in. Still, the guns seem much more unique this time around than they did in the first one. Kind of disappointed with character design (I seriously can't tell who's a bad guy and who's Dom) but whatev. It's a shooter. I shoot.

I'm a huge fan of progress tracking on achievements that require it. The achievement for killing with all the weapons in the game, for example, is very helpful to have a counter for. Same with the active reload and kill 100,000 achievements. Reminds me of the Team Fortress 2 achievement packs, actually.

So yeah, I'm happy with the purchase so far.
