It is uncertain which planet started the trend of creating androids, but Earth has certainly dominated the domain. Its machinations are seen as cold, meticulous creatures that just want to inflict pain, misery, and destruction on regular, living beings. They are revered with fear since they can keep on going after a normal body would have reached its limits.
The physique of an android can vary with which race it is modeled after, but generally the interior stays the same.
