He is switching to him because as you stated.

He is going to do that, not with a drawing ofcourse, but he actually found a image, fan art, of Kol. And he has plans with him, yes him being a Saiyan does help. But does that matter? Hmm? No. I won't go into detail, but he has a storyline layed out for this character, he was going to switch to Corniss, or this other character he found on DA, but it wouldn't fly.

I didn't go into to much detail, I left that up to Stew/Tap.
