See, instead of blurring it like that...you needed to duplicate the layers you blurred, and on the duplicate layer, gaussian blur...and then either lower the opacity of aforementioned duplicate layer, or put it on overlay.
That includes the layer you had the image on.
Oh, and the text overlaps on of his blades. =P. But considering I don't even know how to make sigs do that...thing...where there's nothing behind the image - props for that.
Oh, and I need to teach you how to put borders on sigs.
