Tsurlangol
Also known as "The Gateway to the Unapproachable East", or Gateway. Gateway is almost as commonly used as Tsurlangol itself, not only because its a tongue twister, but the city has been sacked, burned and occupied so many times that the people have lost interest in keeping up with all the names. Despite the chaos (indeed it is the reason for the chaos) Tsurlangol's southernmost position in the Vast and its large port allows it to act as a crossroads for trade traders from other City States in the region to Impiltur, Chessenta, Vilhon Reach, and other nations surrounding the Sea of Fallen Stars. This of course givens it a rich tapestry of creatures, effectively erasing the common racism toward Half-Orcs and other breeds. Most notably of these racial additions is the large amount of Dwarves eager to trade precious metals from the Earthspur and Eartheast mountains.
The most common route, and fastest to the city is to catch a ship from one of the many port cities in the vast, including 'Raven's Bluff', but it is not unheard of for the more adventurous folk to take a path over the Eartheast mountains.
