Flooding would be posting useless spam over and over again. That's what he threatened to do.
You are clearly trying to defend your friend, which I understand, but you arn't accepting the fact that he went about the situation the wrong way. He could have said "Look, he's my friends, please apologize." But instead he said "If you don't apologize, I'll spam you"
