But how did you imagine for this to work? Did you mean like SSJ-P would get a mayor boost in Strength and Stamina, but would get a decrease in Speed and Attack Power? And vice-versa for SSJ-S?

Those in bold would be effected by the SSJ-P transformation, basically throwing all of the Saiyan's energy into that specific location and using it more effectively opposed to equaling it amongst the other stats.

How I imagined it to work would be if someone ran into the case with... oh, for example sake, say someone with the speed of Rad but a different race other than Saiyan. In a normal situation an SSJ would probably be none too effective but lets say this writer has a bit of strategy and can pull off a win with a ki attack. One reason the ki attack ties in with the speed and brute force with the strength is so not only physical capabilities rise but allows for some way for the Saiyan to be on the offensive.

But yes, I meant for the two techniques to place more emphasis on a set of stats rather then having it the 'all around' like SSJ is.

Only problem is, I don't know if it would work within the new system if the revamp ever goes through. I think they already have multiple transformations that differ only in flavour and not in power.

Heh, I was worrying about that actually. I remember seeing something for the revamp posted a while back and it looked like techs were going to be more tightly woven into stats.

But yeah I had only come across this and thought it might be a good gamble to throw up and see if it can't be integrated into the system here.
