If one player is struggling, it's up to the team to adjust their play to compensate. That can mean laning an extra person with them, protecting them during team fights, putting wards where they tend to be, or even just following them around as a five-man gank squad.

There are also mechanics in place to keep one person from losing the game, such as death streaks, and punishes people who just feed off of a single person with kill streaks and assist streaks.

There's a reason Summoner's Rift is 5v5 and not 1+1+1+1+1v5.

EDIT: Understanding where you, as a player, is definitely important, but thinking that your performance alone can unbalance something that dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of people fine-tune 40-hours a week is just silly. Your team failed you just as much as you failed them.

Need the rage thread back. Went to play some solo ranked to attempt to get that skin (which I find out about two days before the stupid thing ends) and I remember why I never play this stupid fucking game in the first place. So many stupid morons raging at someone because they took ONE minion kill from them, and then continue to rage the entire game.

Just played solo ranked with a Veigar, who I honestly don't think was trolly or anything. He was 0/7 by the fifteenth minute, feeding an Annie (and later, an Akali).

It was completely over, and it was completely because of him. The rest of us did decently well in our lanes, but he lost mid terribly, and the game was gone because of it.

Almost every Veigar I see is noob. They try to harass in mid when they just need to 1)Not die 2)Farm Q. That's is for almost all of lane. INstead they waste health and mana for no reason and suck

I actually get yelled at for NOT harassing enough with my Q. But if they are not in "instant fucking death" range with my combo, while laning I tend to regen just enough mana to cast a Q per cooldown, and I'd rather grow my Q and get a last hit for gold than to keep hitting my opponent and watch them lifesteal/hp5 their way to full by the next cd.

Around midlane phase though, it hits hard, depending on who you are fighting. But by then, my combo should be able to insta kill them if I actually have the damn mana.

So tired of this Elo bullshit.

Got up to 1383 after three days of playing (started at 1350) getting anywhere from 6~10 per game. Lost two games today and I'm back at 1350. How does it make any fucking sense that I gain 6 Elo in a game where everyone is even in Elo and then lose fucking 13 Elo in a game where I have the lowest ranking between all the teams?
