Tried a build with Wukong that went Frozen Mallet, Atma's, Force of Nature, and then some AD stuff (Brutalizer then Cloak and Dagger). That didn't really work. Frozen/Atma gave me a pretty strong mid-game, but I fell off so hard that it was just ridiculous. Even with the passive armor/MR I just got melted.

So... I dunno. I'd have to think about my build. The Wukong on the other team went with a Bloodthirster and I think that might be a good place to start.

Prefacing this - Yes, someone instigated me wanting to post this, but no, I'm not specifically talking about that person as sleep deprivation is a hell of a drug and mistakes get made.

But JUST to clear this up... If you are in a lane, and your tower gets destroyed... Don't return to the location of the tower's previous existence as if it were there. Your thinking process, if asked why you are out so far, should not be "I'm at the tower!" because there IS no tower anymore. There's no difference in that spot and any random spot on the map. Well, unless that random spot happens to have a tower, but I digress.

We've all probably done it. I'm fucking terrible about positioning, so again I'm not condemning anyone. But if your thinking process is "The tower isn't there anymore so they can dive me anytime they want!" just after "I'm not out too far, I'm at the tower farming", then rethink that twice.

And yeah, we had someone at Schrodinger's Tower tonight, but its irrelevant about who because I realized others might think that way as well and not even realize it, so its a PSA. Smile

Even Wukong's Q. Also, evidently ALL items count his attacks as ranged. The reason your Frozen Mallet didn't work well? It was counted as ranged. Reason why lizard is lackluster on him? Ranged!

No fucking wonder everyone gets away from me as Wukong. I can't melee slow for shit and I can't chase with Ghostblade either.

e: Do note, I'm frustrated because this mean experimenting with item builds at the moment is not viable. One of his abilities (core for his damage) being bugged and many items not working means I have to wait till next patch to find a viable build for him. That's what bugs me.

Also the 8 games where I did experiment I'm slightly annoyed by now.

Yeah, the sheer number of bugs that came along with the Monkey King is... really surprising. They've released OP/UP champs before, but never one that was just bugged to shit.

At-mogs might be a build for him that works right now.

Also something to note, if you're Wukong and you get knocked back/up during your ult, it stops. So wait for those effects to be used by the enemy team before ulting.

Gangplank is also being noted for being considered a ranged character now, as far as on-hits are concerned. I don't know if they were trying to make it so that if he uses Parrrley he'll apply the "ranged" version of a debuff and if he melees it'll be the "melee" version, or what, but its not like this will bother him very much either.

I've been seeing Tryndamere in at LEAST every other game I've played the last three days or so. Almost always on my team, almost always costing us the game, almost always bitching that his scrub team didn't perform. Interestingly, I've seen a fair amount of Jax lately too.

Also, when a somebody is going in for a kill and is one autoattack away from killing them, don't last hit to steal the kill and then complain that the person isn't contributing enough.

In completely unrelated banter, when you play as a support champion, always steal champion kills from your carries. Trust me, they'll love you for it.

Oh of course. I love me some Janna autoattack. But there is definitely a difference between helping get the kill and accidentally last hitting and watching a carry 1v1 somebody and running over to killsteal as a support. Which is what happened to me during a ranked game. Lewhat?

I love outzoning peeps as Soraka in the early game. Her auto-attacks do damage, and you can't ignore it.

I raged pretty hard yesterday. To the people who were actually playing with me, it was about 30% because of LoL. Other shit going that was already under my skin. And then just stupid mistakes costing us a game we should have won. Even more frustrating were the mistakes that I, myself, made. Regardless, I just wanted to say that that was, I hope, uncharacteristic and let you know that it wasn't really because of the game.
