Oh hell yes. I really really almost bought this game.

UFC 2k9 is a lot of fun with or without friends. I don't really understand the technical submissions and submission escapes. . . You rotate the thumbstick, though despite doing it very fast with a highly skilled submissionist (supposed to work better with skilled submissionists) it can't compare to powering through submissions and submission escapes, which boils down to mashing a button multiple times. The striking game is a lot of fun, though, as with the submissions, I'm still a little unfamiliar with the ground game.

Gaining mount equals flicking the right thumbstick down, then rotating it upward. For some reason instead of taking full mount in most cases my guy seems to go south into a (for lack of the proper term) sixty-nine position. Probably the way I flick the stick, as my buddy can take full mount every time. Fun, technical game.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is borderline awful. It's a poor man's CoD (the system is similar with worse physics, graphics, and guns). The storyline is pretty good, as far as I played. Lots of obscenities.

I've played offline L4D & 2 with a partner on co-op enough to hate it. Some games are just meant for online play. (Which I haven't tried on L4D original or 2)

And offline or online (preferably online) MW2 is amazing.

Modern Warfare 2 is probably the best shooter I've played.

EDIT: This is after being so adamant that the CoD games are overrated before. I don't think the previous titles hold a candle to this one--I thought World at War was pretty lame.

World at War sucked imo. It was quite frankly the worst CoD of the entire series after my experience.
