It's possible you're not mafia and got evidence planted on you, I just really doubt it. The only way for someone to 100% disprove your claim as the doctor is for them to come out and reveal themselves as the doctor. Or for us to lynch you. Either way though, I don't think mafia are winning this.

Looked it up. Deer had a gun, and his role was a plain townsperson. There ya go.
On the other hand, you're right. There's a TON of evidence against me. So, here's my proposition: Don't lynch me today. I'll protect Kraken tonight and he can either use his Sheriffy powers on me or on someone else. If he dies tonight, since I said I'd protect him, I'm obviously Mafia and lynch me tomorrow. If he inspects me, lives, and finds me to be Mafia, lynch me tomorrow too. If I'm killed in the middle of the night, and he inspects me, it's a wasted inspection. If I'm killed and he inspected someone else, he had another night to inspect.
If you lynch me today, and I am what I say I am, Kraken will probably die tonight and with him your ability to sniff out Mafia.

I already investigated you. I said that. You came back guilty.
I honestly am not worried about dying. Then again, I probably have some more information you guys don't. Mafia are in an even tighter spot than they realize with or without me alive.

I wasn't really putting that out there as a prefered thing to do... I was just mentioning it as an option. Regardless, whether you lynch me today or tomorrow, what difference is there really? It only benefits you to take me on my word for today. The absolute worse thing is that'll happen is that you lynch me tomorrow instead.

We'll be wasting another day, and also we have no idea what special roles the mafia has that you could be planning to use in the interim.

The special power of killing enough people to win the game? If the mafia had that, we wouldn't be here right now.
Another day wasted isn't really that big a deal, unless you're just bored of playing.

It's another townsperson dead, you're not gonna guess right two days in a row.

So I'm curious, Orsalis. Apart from him being the other mafia suspect and you wanting to lower suspicion of you two being in cahoots, what was your reason for lynching Whompt?

I dunno. I guessed right as Doctor the first game like 4 times in a row. But since I already said where I'm going to be throwing my protection, I have to assume you mean Kraken. If so, there's at least the possibility that he'll guess right in my scenario. In the option where I die, and I am the Doctor, he'll be killed tonight. No if, ands, or buts about it.

I just suspect him. He's reeling, as he always seems to in tight spots. He'd be more inflamed if he wasn't guilty.

But you suspected me right from post 2 of the thread... that doesn't support your current statement.
And I've never been inflammed when I've come under scrutiny. Maybe a bit more animated than now, but in the previous games where I was lynched as a townie, I didn't see much reason in it. This time, my hands are tied by logic. Going with what Kraken and Bumblebee said, I would vote for me too.

I have my own little hunches. I ain't got any special powers or any such things, but I tend to like my own hunches well enough.

Hurngh. I kind of believe Whompt? Maybe we shouldn't lynch him?

If we do lynch Whompt, and he is the doctor, then we at least know the mafia have some sort of evidence planting ability. I just think we should not trust him, we have no idea what powers the mafia have.

He might be one of those people that shoots us when we hang him out to dry.
Meh. Still worth it.

Aha! Moments before the rope tightened on Whompt's neck a white limo rolled into town.
"This man shall not be hanged! Well... not today!" The Governor signs the document to spare the man's life before once again rolling out of town.
"Well, that was odd."
Whompt's life has been spared tonight!
Send in your night actions.
