Mza, I apologize this thread has gone relatively unnoticed. Real life has been keeping everyone busy. What Kaden touched on in his previous post was the fact that when Waffuru was setting up the Hubb to the current form it is now he found that when VBulletin attempts to nest the Chubbs forums it removes the ability to collapse it. On top of that all of forum nesting like the Workshop under the Asylum got FUBAR'd because of this fault.

When I was talking about it to Waff he was working on figuring out a fix.


To keep it simple when he tried to display the Chubbs planet forums normally the forum bugged out and wouldn't let us collapse them making it appear worse than it does now. I ask you to bare with us while we figure out how to resolve it.

Until then might I suggest subscribing to the thread you're writing in?

I'm all for listening to problems and providing resolutions to those problems, but this is just a perfect example of what has been my fundamental criticism in the Chubbs community regarding activity. People make a ton of bluster, criticize anything and everything they can (such as a little icon that's half the size of the regular one), and demand change for the health of Chubbs.

If I can't see the icon I can't see if there's a new post. If I don't see a new post I wont reply. So yes, this little thing that wouldn't affect someone with good eyes and who doesn't bother being active bothered me until Vad came up with a solution and actually did hinder my activity with the limited access I do have. Sorry for actually trying to help this site's activity continue instead of making snide remarks and just blaming everyone else.

I guess I was mistaken when I thought suggestions would be taken into consideration in the Questions and Suggestions forum. Thing is, I been here over 6 years bro. Sure you been here a bit longer and other people might come and go. Other people might sit and complain about this or that, tell you CA is dumb or the difference in PL is stupid. The old training is better, etc. There's just one important thing you're forgetting. I AM NOT THEM.

I give my opinion on specific matters and rarely ever criticize negatively until recently. Couldn't care less about how other people make you feel. Show me the same respect I've shown you and just stop being a bigot. Responses like that help just as much if not less than the complaints you're always so busy complaining about.

3 posts of asking for a change doesn't make me an ass if no one responded in over 72 hours, especially if one was over a week after. You're just attempting to pass blame yet again. My first reply was a suggestion of how to re-organize more effectively. The second was a response that lacked factual backing due to me neglecting to copy direct links to categories. Which I never thought I had to do but thankfully Piper did and corrected that.

Attempting activity with more the one character and developing story lines for them to encourage others to RP alongside is as legitimate an attempt you can get Meer. It's not my fault one partner either gave up or lost access. The only one being a dick here is you. All I've done is refused to give up like everyone else clearly has because I know that things easily get overlooked here. I know you guys are busy but c'mon...it took 22 days for me to get a response acknowledging the effort was even being made yet you're acting as if I'm being unreasonable. You're just being silly now. The problem obviously isn't just the icons. I made a purchase over a month ago and it was never acknowledged. It took 15 days for a quest to get graded and updated. Another 22 days for a move to be added to my roster. Yet I'm in the wrong here? You've got to be kidding me.

I'm done arguing with you. You think you're always right and we're always wrong. It's sad that people have to tailor post's to avoid responses or ridicule from you. I think I'd honestly prefer a trolling Max or revenge hack from Dana then be on and see you now-a-days.

I don't do updates. That does sound like an excessive wait time. Get the Staff members that do updates on your AIM list and bug them; that tends to be effective.

My criticism of your attitude in this post has, from post one, been what I see as a fundamental problem in the discussion of activity here on Chubbs: namely, that any minor detail that someone doesn't like becomes a scapegoat for that user's activity. Not only does it murk up the discussion of activity (which is bad enough), but it makes the suggestion itself difficult to talk about with any degree of clarity. It's a singularly unhelpful approach, and it's almost universal now. I, personally, see it as downright virulent and try to root it out wherever I find it. Hence, why I'm here.

At the very least, you aren't a hypocrite about it (like nearly everyone else). You actually post.

I did have a problem noticing that Shun had posted. I over looked it( have been back on the old Kembra2 for a while). Maybe change the color of it to a more stand out color to the 'new post icon for a quick fix for now?
