The person who created the Wiki site I know of is currently not online, but the page does run on MediaWiki, so that might be worth checking out. The software is free, and must be relatively painless to use if the aforementioned person could use it.

Create articles and such. Don't forget to add the proper categories to them. Like 'Members' or 'Sagas' for easy organization.

If you could, you might want to consider limiting the people who can edit it. There's people out there that'll mess with stuff like this just for the hell of it.

I can ban IPs and revert things back to the previous versions.

Adding things to a category:

[[Category: <Name>]]

Make sure you create the Category: <Name> site too if you're making a new category
