The scent of charred terrain rose from the ground, and assimilated into the air. Its stench could still be detected, however, bringing a displeasured look upon even the sternest of men. Gokua was no stern man; he was stronger than that. He welcomed the odor into his nostrils, and took heavy breaths to receive larger intakes. It reminded him of the memorable battles he had in his earlier years, and though during those battles he was too young to enjoy the chaos around him, he had the chance to take pleasure in witnessing the scene before him.
Catapults continued to launch random objects into the air?on both sides, showing no signs of being effected by opposing fire. Countless artillery shells were shot from the long metal cannons, and crashed with tremendous force regardless of what it touched. The fire was not done in vain, for both factions had taken casualties, Dante more than United. Dante?s causalities did not go without purpose; the projectile assault was showing itself upon the fortress? walls, which were beginning to buckle under to constant bombardment.
Gokua smiled. ?Keep firing, the effects are clear!? he yelled back to his men. ?Your effort is paying off, greatly!?
?Gokua, how much longer do you think we can continue this strategy?? Android 16 asked, folding his brawny arms across his broad chest.
?To be blunt, there is only a matter of time until Dante breaches our walls,? the alien replied, his eyes still pried on the battlefield.
?True,? the android replied monotonously.
Suddenly, Gokua noticed a change in Dante?s tactics; their army began to slowly spread out more, covering more of the forcefully barren land. ?Wait, do you see this, Sixteen?? He pointed towards Dante Forces.
The mechanical man nodded. ?It seems as if they are trying a different approach to our walls. After calculations, however, our side walls are much more fortified than our front.?
Gokua could not solve the mystery of why their position shifted. They were gaining nothing by moving, and if anything, they were lessening their chances. Then, he saw where the catapult fire was landing; right where they vacated. The alien?s eyes widened. ?They?re not attacking a different wall. They are evading our catapult fire!?
Sixteen slowly looked glanced back at the catapult?s trajectory, and then at Dante?s new position. ?Fix this.? He then left his co-commander, and went back down to the lower platform to aid his unit.
United was wasting time and energy shooting at a blank area, and Dante was laughing hysterically. Gokua was compelled to cure this problem, and with shiftier tactics. He whipped around, raising mighty arm into the air, signaling the projectile unit to cease fire. ?Stop!? he boomed. The men?s rhythm was once again halted. They stopped at the sound of their commander?s voice. ?A change in tactic,? he yelled; the unremitting sounds of war lowered, as if Gokua had the power of a god. ?I need artillery set up five inches to the left, and catapults moved precisely one foot. Make haste in these actions. Time is of the essence, and the fall of our walls is imminent. I do not want you to shoot at their men, for they will simply move. Catapult unit, fire off the flaming debris at the earth around them, trapping them in once place!?
The men understood his words to the fullest and had all of the intentions to carry out the commands with great precision. They reloaded the artillery and placed more flaming debris on the catapults? launcher.
Gokua whipped back around, and gazed down at the front wall. The wall was taking heavy damage, and though its strength was great, it could only take so much more of the abuse from catapults and artillery. All that the commander could hope for was that his new plan could be implemented in time.

The scene had been set with a congregation of thousands of warriors guarding the catapult with their lives dependant on this strategy. Streaming power spiraled from the remnants of the fortress walls and whirled with unfocused prowess into the horde of Dante. The repercussions were disregarded with the narrow loss of fatalities due to their impressive tactic. Their self-assurance was queried with the earth blemished with an inferno before them. However, the stirring speech performed by the saiya-jin king had jarred a slumbering bravery within the soldiers.
They ogled into the ominous flames with an embracing and accepted the fate of death even with the most logical reservations of this skirmish. These men had witnessed their own brothers and those they had sworn to shield be callously executed over this dreadful span. Their throbbing hearts were the foundation for their courage that seemed to not waver even though the menacing battle.
King Vejita?s fingers curled and inched themselves into the security of his hand and constructing a sphere. His daunting presence was dually noted through the vision of the United army as he introduced himself at the frontage of this blockade between the catapults. The dancing flames scrambled to locate the saiya-jin warrior as it ignited the vegetation in front of him. Reality was twisting and bending of it?s perception to the warrior with every rifle being liberated of its ammunition. The earth itself collapsed of its meaning to Vejita and his heart accelerated with every fiber of himself tingling with a vicious joy for this malicious war.
All of his reflections upon this situation were annulled and he flung his limbs above into the heavens in a symbolic manner. This symbolic motion could only signify his inclusive devotion to the conquest of his soldiers by sacrificing his well-being. The miniature projectiles that sliced through the atmosphere with such velocity were journeying, but inches from his form.
His teeth scraped one another to depress his emotions as they surfaced from his soul and his facial expression was commanded by this contamination of fury. The king of all saiya-jin?s had renounced all pessimism and unconstructiveness that would ever conceive to delay his powers. ?Let this be truth to you, men. They hold no strength beyond our own and they are as mortal as we are. Their blood flows just as ours! ? Vejita?s words were unrelenting in their incentive to persist into the heart of United?s fortress. Unfortunately, as his breath were emitted into the arctic temperature, his silence was commanded with authority from an unidentified pellet.
All sensations in his hand seemed to connect with one another and discharge only torture through his body. The only comfort he could attain was the warmth of his own blood basically immersing his hand in it?s presence. King Vejita?s eyes were swelling of moisture and a droplet of his anguish steered down his cheek. Speech was not required in this situation as not even that could define the soreness of his hand as it ejected his blood from the wound.
The warrior?s limbs lingered in their position, but his hand consumed a fist to bombard the pain from his senses. As the fist resumed to an even further compact form, the oozing liquid drooled forth to diminish the strength of the inferno. ?My blood holds no bounds to my power; it can only proceed my wicked thoughts of your execution. DO YOU HEAR?! THE KING OF ALL SAIYA-JIN?S STANDS BEFORE YOU!? Without usage to his audible range, he couldn?t properly regulate his volume and his voice echoed from the impenetrable fortress walls.
Commander Vejita?s lunacy did not stagger however as his non-dominant hand was accurately aimed for the structure with minimal energy being evacuated from himself. A fog of smoke was cast into the vicinity with each blow providing no actual contribution for their victory.
The saiya-jin warrior?s muscles were immobilized under an undetermined realization. His cranium rotated slightly into Broli?s general direction and his expression was cleansed of all known hatred for the moment. Vejita?s lack of sanity however was acknowledged through the uncanny markings below his eyes and the lifeless gaze that his eyes portrayed. The warrior?s tongue soothed over his parched lips momentarily while he attempted to salvage the usage of words to describe his feelings for the commander.
?My words will not deceive you, my dear brother. I will not stand before you and falsify my intentions. Your loyalty over these years has shown me the wonders of this world, but the king of your past is now the king of just that. I harbor none of the emotions that I once held, but know this: you are the one which I will shelter from peril. Through my realization of this empowering darkness, I do not lose sight of the ones that stood alongside of me.?
His words proceeded, but with his voice combined with further volume to refer to others. ?My words speak to you two, as well, Akane and Reijin.? It was a demanding process by the saiya-jin king as he struggled to locate his compassion for these three soldiers.

The peice of wall, only about thirty feet wide, had completely collapses. Catapults continue raining down.
Dante has lost approximately 300 men to the air fire. United has lost about 175-200.
Dante can charge or continue raining down catapult and artillary fire. United can continue to defend or leave the Fortress and attack

Persistent. That was the only word he could come up with that explained his opponent?s tactic. The two armies were alike in this way, both sticking to their plans like there was no other option. Neither tactic was a failure, and that alone reflected the greatness of both armies.
A few hundred yards away stood the opposition, clearly itching to move into their next phase. All of there warriors had been through the battles, through the trenches, and had all the experience one would need. That was their advantage in this battle.
Sixteen stood idle, his hole body motionless as a small breeze whirled around him. Millions of things ran through his mind, as he alone stood in the middle of a thirty-foot gap in his walls. They?d finally made it through, and it was now only a matter of time before they leaked in. The hole was more than just a break in the wall, but an entranceway for doubt. If his walls could be smashed, then this fort could be demolished, that was the fact.
Still looking out through the hole, the android worked out another plan. There was no doubt in his mind that Dante would come charging through this gap, and his mind created the exact image. Swarms of enemy troops would tear through this hole, and they would be met with his own force.
As he imagined the battle that would take place here, words from the former commander rang through his mind. ?No matter the size or damage of a wall, it is still a key defense. You defend your walls, and you are no doubt on your way to victory.? That statement would be the basis of his newest plan.
Knowing Dante would continue to try and lure them out, the machine chuckled for a moment. It was amusing to see the opposition think so lightly of his determination to the plan he?d create for the United army. ?The more you attack, Dante, the more we will defend,? Sixteen muttered to himself whirling around to face Monte Cristo once more.
With each step towards the keep, dirt compacted underneath his massive boots. The ground was damp from the morning?s dew, the same dew that brought life to so many organisms throughout the planet. Water was the essence of any civilizations life, and this too would be a key component in the plan.
Turning the handling rather quickly, Sixteen entered his quarters and into his chair. A map of the current Monte Cristo?s status was laid out upon the desktop. Including the thirty-foot gaping hole, as well as other damages caused. With a deep inhalation of oxygen, the machine began sketching out his plans.
?Gokua, take this and implement it immediately. Place your units at the desired position when it is evident that Dante is charging, and don?t be late. We can?t cork the holes, but I believe this is the better option,? the apparatus explained, poking his fingers around the map.
?Also, if any more of our wall is punctured then I want the same thing done to it,? Sixteen added quickly, already half way down the steps.
Hurrying back to his own unit, he grabbed a hold of the General Hiro by his shoulder. ?When it is clearly visible that Dante is advancing, I want all of the snipers atop the walls near the gap. Prevent all the soldiers you can from entering that hole, Reinforcements will be provided by Gokua and myself when our plan has come to bear it?s fruit.
Moments later, the commander stood once again near the massive hole in his defense, watching his plan come to reality. Pieces of the pearly white walls lie scattered along the soil below him. It was still as magnificent as when it was a piece of the wall, still a beautiful white color, and still as strong as any substance available.
Bending down, Sixteen wrapped his metallic fingers around a chunk the size of his fist. ?Troops, do you see this piece of stone. It was once a piece of our walls; the walls Dante have managed to breach. Well I?ve got something to say about this little stone, and that is that this stone is unique. It?s unique in that it will be the only part of this Fortress that our opposition will get its hands on, and I will make sure of that.? Sixteen boomed, raising the stone high up into the sky.
With wide eyes, his soldiers watched silently for a moment. The machine turned in his tracks quickly, and enabled the zoom function within his eyes. Scanning the many faces of Dante, he noticed a very bulky saiya-jin warrior. Cocking the hand with the stone back behind his ear, Sixteen launched stone high into the air. It?s destination Broli.
?Broli, the commander of Dante will receive my message. I?m sure he will know just what that stone represents,? Sixteen though to himself, turning back to his troops.

Akane stood quietly in one of the many tents behind the enemy lines, her head bowed in deep respect as she stepped out of the portable shower; happy to have washed off the debris that had lingered on her for days, perhaps even weeks. Shifting comfortably in her naked guise she drew a soft towel around herself, drying her body as preteen walked through the tent for her clothes. Garnishing herself in her casual attire the youth found herself quickly out of her tent, looking at the battle that was enfolding in this distance. Catapult fire after Catapult fire filled the air, both sides taking damage. The brief thought of Reijin?s protection crossed her mind, resulting in her giggle from herself. Reijin needed no protection, not from these people anyway.
Dashing off the youth passed the soldiers, heading towards the battle that was enfolding. Passing Reijin the female torpedo stopped suddenly, skidding on the ground; doing a 180. Leaping at the man she propelled herself at him, hugging him across the chest as she stared at his face.
?Reijin, you can?t start fighting people without me! That is.. Unfair. I thought you cared!? Winking the girl poked him in the nose playfully, before dropping herself on to the ground. The angel?s hair flowed like rays of light in the breeze, the wet strands floating ever so gently in the breeze.

The dreadful darkness resided solely above the heads of the Dante soldiers. Its gloomy sight was successful in the notion of their pre-determined doom or so it seemed. The reveberating cries of soldiers were hushed due to the whirling object that seemed miniscule in its proportion. It journeyed with such a lack of weight or from sheer strength of the unknown soldier that pitched it from the fortress.
King Vejita, even with his scarred vision that had confined him throughout the decades of his lifetime, had retrieved the object in his sights. His darkened pupils winced at the gaze that he placed on it while it hurried into his vicinity. They shrunk in size while observantly implanting the details of it into his long-term memory. It was a symbol.
Vejita's hands resisted the urge to deflect the object while it scurried onto the floor and commited itself to an unexpected pause at the feet of his fellow commander. Instead, both of his hands were ascended above at equal height to his face while his fingers stroked the mane of his chin. His own blood was smeared against his beard and his expression began to shape into madness. The saiya-jin's facial expression squealed with delight in reference to imagining himself dismantling his opposition.
He persisted to smear his own saiya-jin blood to allow its substance to blemish his cheeks. An unknown language seemed to instantly be ejected from the tip of his finger as if it were an actual writing utensil. Vejita I's lips curled upwards in delight to salivate over his own life-force in a display of his lack of mercy.
The commander could only sneer in the direction of United while he reserved his customary stance. His arms elongated with his fingers seizing a placement that could be scrutinized as a deadly blow that could claim a man's actual throat. Logic and reasoning conflicted with his lack of patience as methods and ideas of victory were spawned from Android-16's insulting action. If only it was beneficial for his army to intrude upon Monte Christo's mighty fortress and devour these bastards with every fiber of hatred that the commander possessed.
It was luring him into a web of deceit and pleasure, but his logic was overwhelming him entirely. He hissed to himself and squirmed slightly to express his frustrations. They would be annihilated; with whatever strategy in their arsenal. "Come United, don't hide behind the walls of your fear. Step forward and embrace death as it stands at your door." Vejita's whisper was unheard by his fellow soldiers and was precisely utilized to slightly extinguish the rage smoldering within him.

The Saiya-Jin gasped for air as he ran, his eyes flashing from side to side. Through the darkened tunnel he ran, clueless as to where he was heading. Then, as if a curtain was being lifted from his eyes, the darkness dissipated. There he stood in an auditorium-like room, the walls, floors, and ceilings made of a faded, yellow stone. Lab equipment lined the tables that filled the room, a green, gooey liquid waiting stagnant in a multitude of beakers. At the opposing end sat a gargantuan vat of the solution. Only feet from it, a figure lay kneeling on the cold stone, his head tilted down in silent meditation. As Broli took a step in, the figure raised his head, ears twitching to the sound of the Saiya-Jin. He stood, turning ever so slightly to face Burori. As he recognized the Saiyan, a look of disgust spread across his face.
?It can?t be? Nubian?? The Saiyan?s jaw released from its hinges, his eyes staring madly at the Vegetian Ambassador. ?You?re dead!?
Nubian showed no change in emotion, the same repugnant glare glossed over his face. Suddenly, Nubian barred a row of razor-sharp, fang-like teeth, screeching at the top of his lungs. The lab equipment shimmered and shattered, glass bursting into the air. Broli threw his hands up, shutting his eyes as he fell backwards.
?Broli?? The Commander opened his eyes. A dimly lit lantern hung from above, barely managing to illuminate the tunnel. ?Broli!? The voice came again, firmer than the first time. A set of glaring eyes met his own. They belonged to a figure standing before him, even taller than he. Even in the darkness, he recognized the Sativan Army uniform as well as the scruffy, unshaven face and deep, brown eyes.
?Tarango??
?Are you alright? C?mon, we need to get to the Reactor Core.?
Broli looked around slowly. ?The Reactor Core???
?What?s gotten into you? We need to reroute the power to the Outer Shield. We don?t have time to dilly-dally!? Tarango furrowed his eyebrows, looking over his counterpart with concern.
?Er, right, the Reactor Core. Let?s go.? Broli snapped, as if waking from a dream.
Tarango stared for a moment, and then, deciding not to worry about the peculiarity of his friend, shrugged and pointed to the wall. ?According to the Layout Map, the Reactor Core should be?? he placed a finger on the map, ?? here. Let?s go.? Within moments, Tarango had disappeared into the darkness of the tunnel, Broli taking a deep breath before following.
A flash of light. A crackle of electricity. Broli found himself standing on the steel grating of a narrow bridge leading to an array of consoles. Below them in the massive, circular room, pipes connected like a spiderweb, volts of electricity crackling along the metallic surfaces. It was a wonder that the consoles themselves remained unharmed. ?Let?s just get this over with,? Broli found himself saying.
Tarango needed no further encouragement. He began stepping towards the computers.
Another flash. Tarango lay on the cold floor, a lifeless figure as an unnamed warrior bashed his head against the ground. Save him. Broli tried to move, but his legs wouldn?t allow it. Save him! His feet remained frozen to the floor, the Saiyan opening his mouth to scream. No sound would come, however. Summoning every inch of strength in him, he shut his eyes, attempting to scream once more.
?Take a seat.? He opened his eyes. A long, wooden table was before him, five men seated behind it. A single, empty chair awaited on his side. As if not in control of his body, he stepped forward, placing himself in the seat. The largest of the five began to speak, yet his words were inaudible to Broli?s ears. Utter silence filled the room as the figures moved sporatically. The main character?s lips fluttered at an inhuman speed, and then, as if needing no bidding, the room slowed. ?Don?t worry about Tarango. I have other plans for him.? Rischevek. The figure laughed sardonically.
Other plans?[i] He nodded to himself quietly. [i]That?s right. Tarango was given to Nubian and injected with Traichetta-B. That?s what made him? Broli?s eyes widened as the realization slammed into his skull.
Flames surrounded them. The room was empty other than Broli and Rischevek. Rischevek lay on the floor, eyes wide with fear, head still dripping with blood from the gaping wound made by the ki pistol in his hand. A wisp of air passed by, startling Burori, his head turning to the window in time to see a shadow pass by. The Black Demon.
He rushed outside, running to the center of the street. Only yards away stood a shadowy figure. ?Why didn?t you save me?? He immediately asked, lifting his face into the light of the flames. Again, Broli found himself lacking the words to speak.
?Why didn?t you save me?? He asked again. As Broli blinked, he found himself staring face to face with the creature. Tarango?s bloody face was within inches of his own.
?I couldn?t!? Burori managed to cry out.
?Liar! You couldn?t save me! You can?t save anyone!? And as if like a ghost, Tarango stepped through Broli?s body. The Saiya-Jin turned, attempting to chase after him, yet he had no chance. A nearby building, consumed in flames, came crashing down upon him?

The pain in the changeling?s leg had begun to ache uncontrollably. He had used too much energy when the bolder came, and couldn?t focus as well as he used to. The purple warrior unwrapped his tail from what remained of his left leg, letting it return some lost blood. He wanted Koorsala to freeze his leg and numb the pain, but he couldn?t bare to break his promise to her. He would beer through the pain if it killed him.
The six other changelings were taking out the enemy lines with every shot they fired. Dante and United both were taking casualties, but Dante was taking the bulk of the pain. They would have to attack soon if they wanted to still have an army. However, the walls were weakening, and it wouldn?t be long until the two powers collided, fist to fist. The beautiful walls of Monte Cristo were becoming cracked, but still shone bright in the dark. It could be compared to United?s resolve to win.
Koola tried again to aim his rifle, but he was beginning to weaken and grow weary. He could hardly keep the rifle still, and eventuality fell forward onto the side of the tower. His comrades stopped what they were doing and tried to help the prince of changelings. But the proud prince refused any help, and ordered them to continue firing on Dante?s position. They backed away, and reluctantly continued the rain of death.
He looked down on the once beautiful grounds surrounding the Fortress, and remembered when he first came to the palace that is Monte Cristo. The trees grew, the grass was green, and the skies were a cheerful aqua blue. But now the trees were dead, the grass became dead and the ground was nothing but dirt and craters from all the rocks and debris the catapults fired. The sky was angry with dark storm clouds approaching closer and closer, waiting for a victor to arise before it unleashed the largest downpour the world had ever seen. It would have to wait a long time.
The purple changeling wanted to end this war as soon as he could, and take a much needed rest like he loved to do. The one way to flush out the Dante army was to take out a leader of that army, and tarnish the moral of the men under him. He needed to get closer, and stare into his eyes when he died. He nodded to his fellow changelings as he lifted himself over the wall and fell down into the battlefield.
When Koola landed with a thud on the cold, hard earth, he moaned a soft groan and looked forward, trying to find cover. If he didn?t act fast, Dante snipers would pick him apart until there was nothing left of him. He scanned the immediate area around him, and noticed a small crater made by a rock flung by a catapult. It would provide excellent cover until he could find his permanent sniping position.
He slowly crawled using his right leg and his tail to push himself toward the rock. He panted as if he were an old dog who ran out of tricks. He kept reaching for his bone, but always fell short. Now the bone is buried and the dog cannot remember where he had hid it. However, he tried and tried, even though he knew he wouldn?t find it. He would continue to look for, even if it killed him.
He reached the rock, after crawling for what seemed like hours through sniper fire and falling debris and rocks from the sky. He sat up and rested his back against the rock?s edge. He checked to see how many shots were left in the rifle, shacking his hands when he was doing it. Three shots. He would have to make them count.
He peeked his head over the side of the rock, trying to find the best vantage point to use his sniper rifle. He looked around, although his vision was blurred. He then saw a large tree, still green and unscarred by the battle that had been raging for so long. The only green on the ground for miles around, so obvious that it was perfect for hiding. He slung his rifle over his soldier and laid on his stomach, ready to make his last journey.
As he began the struggle, he knew that this would be his last act of the Dante Abyss tournament. He wouldn?t have any energy left in his body to continue to move, and would lie in the green tree until he was killed or the tournament was over. He had to make it count.
He was only a dozen feet away from the tree, and he hadn?t had a single bit of trouble along the way. But then he noticed that a sniper had a bead on him, when he stopped crawling for a moment to rest and a sniper bullet of Ki hit the ground near the front of his head. He used much of his reserve energy to lift his body with his arms, his right leg, and his tail. He gave a mad dash to the safety of the tree, narrowly avoiding another shot from the sniper. He dived into brush nearby and turned his back to the sniper, resting it on the back of the tree. He had never been more exhausted in his life.
The sniper fired several more rounds until finally giving up and moving on to another target. Koola took the advantage and began wrapping his tail around the lowest branch of the tree. He pulled himself up with all his might, and rested there. He breathed heavily, but he had to continue. He repeated the process until he finally reached the highest and sturdiest branch of the tree, and began to set up his sniping position.
He made the sniper rifle rest upon the crack in the tree branch, keeping it sturdy. He laid down and starred into his scope, scanning Dante?s inner lines. All the higher ups were located back there, the ones the Dante soldiers looked up to, the ones who give them the orders and moral they need to fight. He had to find someone who kept the soldiers? will strong. So he starred into the crosshair and looked to see what he could find.
After sweeping through the thousands of Dante soldiers, he could not find one blue uniformed man worthy enough to be slain by him. The problem was, he was looking for a man. He finally found the face of a young girl, motivating the others to push through. The men looked to her and raised their fists in joy, and were ready to die for the cause of war, for Dante, and for her. The single girl had managed to do that to so many men, and must have inspired them in earlier battles as well. He didn?t like the idea of killing a girl, but he was fading more and more by the second, and had no more time to waste. He starred into her eyes and readied himself to pull the trigger.

Dante has charged into the small gap. Catapults from Dante have stopped firing.
United has the charge in the gap with ki gun fire. Those at the front lines of Dante take heavy causalities, but thanks to the covering fire and the flying Special Ops, Dante managed to silence the United welcoming committee.
Dante has breached the Fortress wall and is now engaged in a ground battle. Snipers continue to fire upwards to the wall. The battle has seemingly shifted for Dante, as they are now losing less troops
Kerry is with the Dante soldiers charging. Joy is using non-combat units to bridge up the trench around the walls.
Koola has successfully sniped, and killed off, Akane Kimidori.

?The wall has been breached!? a United soldier yelled for all of his comrades to hear. ?They?re in, they?re in!?
Chaos had broken out down by the entrance, and panic quickly overwhelmed any sense of survival in the younger troops. Dante Forces charged into the large gaping caused by relentless abuse. Gokua knew that it was only a mere matter of time until Dante would make their entrance, but not as quickly as he anticipated.
Gokua quickly glared down at the ground level with much surprised, perplexed by the sudden surge of men into their fortress. He had to think quickly, and astutely to aid the infantry units in their close combat struggle. Instincts said to allow Android 16 to maintain the situation, but it was far too hectic to ignore. He had to interject, and though he only had projectile weaponry, and a collection of kinesis soldiers, proper utilization would overwhelm the problem, suffocating it before it manifested into a defeat.
?Artillery!? the alien exclaimed, unsheathing his rapier, raising it in the air, far above his head. ?Change the direction of your attack!? he boomed, catching all ears. ?Attack the gathering of Dante soldiers as they charge to our walls! Now!?
Such large, mounted weapons would take long to redirect to such a close angle, only a few meters from the trenches, but it was possible. With haste, the men turned the artilleries, setting their trajectory in their commander?s desired location. Catapults, though not included into Gokua?s message, followed the lead of the artillery, and redirected their fire to around the same location.
Dante Forces carelessly charged from their distant post, eager to engage their foes in close combat warfare. They did not know of the fate that had been so conveniently bestowed upon them from United?s Gokua.
?Fire!? the alien roared, slicing the air with his rapier, and aiming at the reckless Dante troops that charged the long field to enter the fortress.
The shots banged, loudly, ringing the ears of the ones close enough to control the large weaponry. It was at a deafening point and many of the soldiers? sense of hearing was lost from their efforts. And though blood trickles out of their earlobes, they continued to contribute.
The catapults launched the blazing debris in the same remote area, setting ablaze the foolish Dante infantry. Their screams ripped through the air, and could be even be heard over the booming sounds that the battle had produced. Gokua took pleasure in their agony, for he ignored the lives being lost on Dante?s side, and welcomed the causalities his unit created.
Men continued to slide through the clustered hole, by any means they could. Their persistence was admiring, but in vain; they were slowly being gunned down by the waiting United infantry and kept their composure, and neutralized the men. They continued to rush the hole, despite the inevitable fate they would meet doing so. Many got through, and got their wish to finally attack their enemies.
Gokua looked down, only to see that his efforts were not stopping all of the men from making their way into the fortress. He had to try harder. ?All kinesis soldiers that are not currently occupied, come!? he yelled; the men that could came. ?See that gaping hole?? he asked, pointing at the hole as he sheathed his rapier. ?I want you to use your powers to assist our infantry. Do whatever you can to make their job easier. Do not allow men through the hole. Stop them as they enter.? He looked back to reassure himself that the projectile unit was still firing. ?Make them regret their decision to charge this fortress!?

The dark sky of Monte Cristo gave off a show of stars glowing behind the passing smoke clouds of the destruction going on down below. It was a beautiful thing to glance at when you didn?t want to think about the realities going on around you. The view of the warming night sky was the only thing at Monte Cristo that gave off a good feeling.
Para came back down from the astonishing gaze and back to the hardships in front of him. The wall was torn down into tiny fragments of cold marble. The shield of the United Army had crack and Dante?s charge was inevitable. The catapults had done their job nicely and Dante couldn?t fight that fight no longer.
The time to leave the confines of the stench ridden trench was upon the saiyan warrior and his unit. Battle cries echoed through his head and coursed through his veins. The ground shook with the rumbling of the massive army on the move. The breach in the wall might as well be laid with a giant target because that is were Dante would apply their brute force.
How such a sturdy and well built marvel like the walls of Cristo could fall baffled the saiyan. His eyes closed against his will and the thoughts of the fortress being his final Conquest resting place played through his mind. The months and months of warfare and construction and death raced throughout his brain. His eyes opened and he was still at Cristo and people were still dying all around him. The screams were still heard, The gunshots still rang, the whistles of the falling catapults still sounded until impact, and the odor of charred flesh and blood still flared his nostrils. It was back to reality.
The trenches may have not been the nicest place to be, but it was safe. They had to leave, the fight was now put on their shoulders. They were the secondary line of defense, if the walls of Cristo crumbled they would stand tall to replace it. The dark hair of the saiyan warrior swayed in the cool breeze for a brief moment as he gave the signal to his regiment.
?We have to go now. We leave the shelter of our protected trench to go fight against Dante. Fist to Fist.? With that spoken Para lead out of the trenches and onto the front line of battle.
He quickly pulled out his gun and fired at will. The saiyan cleared the way for his regiment to make it to the breach in the wall. He placed the gun on his shoulder, aimed, and fired once more. The eye?s of the saiyan caught the sight of one of his men taking a bullet in his muscular chest and falling into a pool of his own blood. Para turned away, the view made him cringe.
The breach in the finely made walls of the fortress was just up ahead. Para clenched his gun closer to his side. The strap placed perfectly over his shoulder. Screams of agony and despair only fueled the saiyan on to keep going. His regiment was in a mad dash now, together as one. Catapults flew over the exhausted heads of the soldiers and onto the massive army of Dante. Para gazed at the sky once more and stared at the lumination of the stars silhouetting perfectly with the flaming catapults flying past them.
A giant gaping hole in the wall of the fortress laid before them. ?Line up, fight, defend? Para yelled as he wandered into the crowd of enemy soldiers and his own.
His army charged in place of the hole and wasnt going to let anything in even if it would cost them their lives. The saiyan braced himself for a harder battle then he would ever face before. He wouldnt be denied and neither would his well trained regiment. Their guns were aimed and at the ready nothing would pass, nothing.

"The rules are..." Reijin announced to his men. "THERE ARE NO RULES!" he yelled in battle fervor.
Pointing at the fortress, he tried to rally his men to prepare for the final assault. Now that United had been softened up, it was time to leap upon them and tear the flesh from their bones. They'd marinated long enough. Akane was attempting to incite the troops to a glorious cause as well, but Reijin knew better than to hope for morality issues swaying these men. There was only one goal to accomplish, and that was the goal of decimation. The complete and utter annihilation of the United Army so that they could all get the hell off this planet. He could see as their enemy began to reposition themselves, practically abandoning any sign of defending their fortresses durability in preperation for the second phase of the battle. Dante Forces had suffered more losses in soldiers, and they had arrived with fewer troops as well. This did not put them on a good level with their adversaries, but Reijin also knew that the armies were only as good as their leadership.
Reijin was a Lieutenent of this army. That's all that mattered. They were either going to survive this encounter and emerge victorious, or Reijin would fall in the battle doing as much damage to the enemy as he possibly could. The only thing that mattered was who won in the end. Everything in between was simply the filling.
He'd been to Kala to fight for the planetoid's own freedom alongside golden angel's of crimson against the hellspawned demons that had entered through the rift. He had defeated Satan himself in a one on one battle, easily crushing the high demonic warlord's skull in one blow. He had entered the rift of Hell itself, coming to grips with the knowledge of things that must be done despite his personal feelings on the issues. He'd lost Videl to the demon's powers and he'd vowed to one day repay them the kindness.
"Akane..." he called, breaking her off midsentence in her speech. "We should be ready soon," he announced, looking over to his Commanders. She nodded at him, giggling as she stretched out her arm. "I think he's going to signal our charge with the next few moments. Do me a favor." He looked over at her and gave a bit of a smirk. "Put that pacifism bullshit behind you so you don't get yourself killed, alright?"
The girl simply giggled a bit more. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Killing is wrong in any form, and I'm sure that if I can detain them and control my anger they'll realize it, too."
The saiyan simply spat at the ground. "Doubt it, but we are two different people." He looked over at Broli and Vejita I just as they signaled the charge. Looking back at Akane, he nodded at her. "Time to go in," he announced. She opened her mouth to respond, and it was that moment that the bullet struck her in the throat. Reijin's eyes opened widely in the spanse of the bullet entering her on the left side and emerging in an explosion of flesh on the right. "Akane!" His voice exploded outwards in a very outward portrayel of the bullet itself, a strong wind picking up around the saiyan and lifting his hair around him.
Her last sight one of pain, she fell to her knees before collapsing face down in the dirt. The medics finally took notice and began to yell for assistance, but Reijin was on the ground trying to use his Healing Technique on her already. Attempting to align their auras to enable the healing, he realized that her aura was faded so far that his own simply demolished whatever it touched. "Akane, come on. Now is not your time, dammit. We need you to win this thing!" he growled in anger.
Innocent eyes simply looked up at him and her mouthed opened to speak, but only blood emerged as the girl's eyes faded lifelessly. Her head fell back in his hands, and the blood rolled out of her mouth. His eyes hardening, Reijin immediately set the girl down and rose to his feet, scanning the horizon. He knew that if he didn't distance himself immediately, he wouldn't be able to find the one responsible for this and they'd have time to escape. He could hear as his Commanders took notice but he was already approaching the front lines. There. He saw a small burst from a secluded rock structure and his arm repelled it reflexively as his Super Saiyan aura burst into being around him. His hair a golden fury of flame, his eyes emerging from a black of the void into a more tranquil turqouise, Reijin felt nothing close to tranquility. What he embraced was the cold fury that had entered him, a raging torrent of ethereal energy awaiting its opportunity to sever the spine of the creature within the rocks.
"CHARGE!"
Reijin could hear the call for war, but in his ears only the thunder of death could be heard. He burst out to rush towards the location in the rocks that he'd seen, using his teleportation skills to flash from side to side as weapon fire tried to take him from every direction. A shot nearly struck him in the back but he simply phased away to continue his own charge. He could hear as the battle began in truth a short distance nearby, but his mind attempted to shut it out. He would see the killer dead. His only regret was that he had not allowed himself the moment to reach out with his own killing instinct first.
He reached the rocks and dove to the ground, landing harshly on sharp points as another beam of energy flared directly over him. Growling, he pushed himself to his feet to hear a dark laughter nearby. He spat momentarily, a droplet of blood emerging from the wound he recieved as his jaw hit the rocks. Dust swirled around as his blood struck the cold earth, and he pushed himself to his feet, hunting insticts overtaking him. "Where are you, you son of a bitch..." he growled, looking around. He heard the catapults exploding in the distance, but what his ears were searching for was much smaller than that. He picked up on the sound of a rock being ground into the earth underfoot, and his eyes locked on the location of it. Without moving, he drew back his fist, a pool of golden Super Saiyan energy gathering around it as he cursed loudly. "Dammit!" His fist thrust a bolt of empowered energy forward through the rock structure towards the being responsible, only to strike nothing.
"Coward..." His boots pushed off the ground as he leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding the next blast before he landed next to a sheer rock wall. He ducked back behind the granite and dropped low to the ground, listening quietly for the sound of the being that he knew had not left the area. Two tigers were hunting one another nearby, and he had not even seen the creature yet, but he knew the creature was engineered for fighting, and he seemed adept at hit and run, a very survival oriented creature.

Everything was altered; their strategies and coherent judgment was had been perverted with an abundance of resentment for the United soldiers. Dante?s breach of the fortress walls had disengaged a slumbering monster that had awaken with apprehension blinded by the blaze of glory. Thousands of warriors were interlocked into a warfare of interest goals: absolute conquest. Their tears of sorrow was subsided with bravery flourishing throughout their veins and deriving from their perseverance to identify only victory.
Time stumbled to maintain its velocity while it decelerated with every droplet of blood that was relinquished from their flesh and every strand of sweat that inched from the lengths of their locks. King Vejita was a sufferer of this ordeal with only the cursed and embraced adrenaline injecting itself through him. The warrior saiya-jin had marched onwards as a jagged dagger through the heart of the beast, otherwise known as the opposition. His presence was announced with his reeking breath imposing itself on the interior of the fortress and his limbs subjected to a motion that could only be perceived as one of intimidation.
The parched blood of his saiya-jin royalty peeled from his awkward facial expression with his wrinkles exposing themselves. He couldn?t defy the ferocious creature swelling in his belly and could only administer respect of its coming. A wondrous sensation seemed to project itself from the heavens above and with amazing splendor, gift him with a vicious joy. However, it was downsized by a slim margin at the twisting and graceful passage of blood that?s origination was only appalling to him. Vejita?s attentiveness was readjusted with his miniscule conscience being joggled of its activity.
The commander of Dante however couldn?t unlock even a fragment of his compassion and his detailed face could only distort to his current emotions of rage. ?My emotions numbed and my heart ceiled of such feeling, and this sight of her proceeds to call of my name. I call upon her vengeance; without meaning or reason. ? His words were splurged with this unconceivable event, and a creature of unknown races was distinguished as the murderer.
The changeling soldier wielded the rifle with a distinctive excellence and the saiya-jin king could only tilt his cranium with queries scrambling into his brain. Without objection from his logic, he hurdled beyond the masses of bodies and trampling through the decaying meat of his own brothers. His feet stomped forward in the direction of Koola as the blood of his once existing companions spurt outwards into anonymous methods. The king?s fingers were of vivacity as his nails burrowed underneath the flesh of his own hand.
Vejita?s contemplations were regarded of sinister techniques of homicide. Koola?s grave would be seized on the very quarters he vowed to shield from the commander. These would be the hours of his demise; whether the king would be entailed to journey with him into the bowels of hell itself. It would be done. ?Stand with pride, changeling. I expect only acceptance of your untimely demise. ?

Two shots. He still had two shots remaining after killing the young girl. But Koola never liked the idea of killing her. It saddened him to see her lying in agony, but such is the trails of war. The changeling even saw a young man try to revive her, but to no avail. It angered the man, and he transformed into a Super Saiyan, desperate to find her killer.
Koola knew that he couldn?t be found yet, not until his last two shots were used up. Until he wasn?t useful to United, he would continue to fight. The changeling looked back to his comrade, Flemings, still sniping the Dante soldiers. He was a reason to fight. The purple changeling made a new comrade, the Android Commander, Sixteen. He was a reason to fight. He had been accepted by the United army, even though he had betrayed Outcasts. All of them were reasons to fight and die for.
He had to get down from the tree. The angry Saiyan was looking for him, and might try to find him there. He looked down and tried to pinpoint where he would go. Then Koola saw an excellent patch of dirt covered with small rocks. An easy area to set up a sniping position.
He grabbed his gear and slung it around his shoulder. The changeling had to act fast, before his energy was completely depleted. He wrapped his arms carefully around the branch of the tree and leaned to the side. He fell to the left, and then hung from the branch with only his arms. Koola slowly loosened his grip until only his hand held him up from falling. The changeling prince figured that he could land one his feet if he fell from where he was then. He let go, and landed on the dirt with a thud.
He struggled to return to his upright position before he was found. Koola used the tree has a footing and pulled himself up. He wrapped his tail around his leg to create his useful peg leg system. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath. The blue fighter panted softly until he figured that his body wouldn?t give out. Then he began to walk toward the final sniping spot he?d be at for the rest of the game.
He looked over more closely at the walls of Monte Cristo and noticed that Dante had taken the advantage and charged the marble fortress. Blue uniformed men were entering the small hole, while United soldiers tried to push them back. Koola knew that the end was near, for him and the war. The changeling prince then noticed a proud man with tall hair and a forceful beard. He then recognized him as one of the commanders of the Dante army.
?Stand with pride, changeling. I expect only acceptance of your untimely demise.? Koola winced. The saiyan stood there poised to attack at any moment. Koola was worn out, and was missing a leg. The Commander was fresh to the fight. Koola was sure to lose unless he thought of something.
?You?re United scum, prepare to die!? he yell, starting to charge the changeling prince. Koola lifted his rifle up in the air, and fired a single shot. Vejita stopped and looked up, before declaring aloud, ?Fool, why waste a shot?? Then, as he looked down, he noticed that the changeling wasn?t there.
Koola booked it as fast as he could, determined to make it to his sniping position. He looked back and noticed that the angry saiyan was right behind him. He stopped and tried to turn to the left. His peg leg slipped and he tripped. The saiyan Commander, unable to halt, also tripped and fell over Koola. But by graciously sticking his arm out, he flipped over and did a somersault. He returned to his feet and charged after Koola again. But then he skidded to a stop, as the crafty changeling had the sniper rifle aimed at him. ?Lights out!? yelled the changeling, pulling the trigger.
ooc: More than likely, this is my last post. I just decided to put something up(even though it sucked), so good luck to all.

He's pulling the trigger
Reijin's realization overtook him as his eyes gauged the distance between the changeling before him and Vejita I. Reijin recognized the creature as Koola, a being he'd fought alongside many times and had even assisted in the wish for Kajin Rala. This Koola... seemed different though. He was far weaker.
Leaping from the tree, Reijin landed behind the crouching changeling just as his finger twitched. Without hearing whether the shot successfully fired or not, and without seeing the result of the shot, Reijin grabbed the creature by the tail, catching him by surprise. Somehow, in all of this fighting, Koola had completely neglecting to keep track of him after he had run, and had instead focused on retreating and his attempt on the life of Vejita I. Doing so would be his downfall.
His gloved hands tightened their grip on his tail, jerking sharply with his Super Saiyan strength to sling the changeling against another rock wall, watching as it shattered around them. Reijin could feel a massive power difference between the two of them. In an attempt to pull himself to his feet, Koola pushed himself from the ground only to find Reijin suddenly on him, his fingers around the changeling's throat.
Reijin spun, slamming the creature to the ground by his throat hard enough to see the ground splinter around his body. "Of all I've seen you do, I should have realized your treacherous life would do something like this," he growled into the changeling's face.
The purple warrior's hands were clenched around the iron grip of the saiyan's wrist. "I don't know what you are talking about, fool," he spat at the young warrior. "But if you release me, I'll make all of your nightmares come true."
The raven haired youth simply chuckled. "Right, the old 'I have amnesia' trick, is that it? I've seen how ruthless you are, changeling, and I've fought alongside you. I've wished for a great planet with you. I've seen Raditzu himself both fight as your greatest ally and against you as your greatest adversary."
Koola's eyes glanced over to see the nearby gun, but Reijin followed his gaze and immediately kicked the gun away with his boot. Koola looked back up at the saiyan and laughed slightly. "You forget one thing out of all of that." His knee came up into the saiyan's gut, knocking the wind from him and forcing him to release his grip. "I have no need for oxygen!" he laughed, grabbing the wrist of the saiyan and peeling it back from his throat.
Wrenching his gloved hand free, Reijin glanced down at it as he tightened the straps on both of his gloves, readjusting the metal knuckles at the end of his gloves. "Well well..." he rasped in anticipation. "You seem to have some of your old fight within you." His aura bloomed like a fiery blossom as his golden hair returned to its stiffened static position. "Your lack of requiring oxygen... Do you not need the rest of your throat as well? I'll remove it for you!" he taunted.
The changeling leapt at him, but Reijin sidestepped him quickly. Spinning, the purple creature's fist came towards him, forcing his hand to quickly parry it aside. Continuing his spin, Koola snapped his tail around behind the saiyan's back, wrapping it around his throat and then pulling him backwards, slamming him to the ground. He quickly released his tail and leapt onto him, raising a clawed hand high above him dramatically.
Reijin quickly threw his hand to the side, telekinetically summoning the gun the last few inches to his grip before bringing it up in front of him to hold it against the changeling's striking hand. Pushing him back, Reijin rolled his body, flipping the changeling backwards over his head. The young warrior rolled forward to leap onto his feet on time to see the changeling land in a feral position before him, his tail twitching in anticipation.
Extending a gloved hand, Reijin's fingertips twitched, mirroring the tail in a challenge. Koola leapt into the air, landing before the dodging golden warrior. Koola spun around with his claws in an attempt to rake them across Reijin's face, but the gun in Reijin's hand was used to knock aside the claws, before the saiyan gripped it from one end and brought it up to strike the creature across the face.
Koola struck the ground but his tail snapped in the direction of the saiyan to ward off the potential attacker. Reijin simply brought the gun down with force into the creature's back. He'd aimed for a skullcrushing blow, but that damned tail had intercepted it midswing and knocked it from its course.
Reijin snatched the gun back and held it to his side like a large sword, his other hand flinging out to throw a concussive blast of energy at the felled opponent. Like a beast, Koola rolled to the side and was back on all fours for a moment before rising back to full stature.
"So is this where you die, little saiyan?" the creature mocked him, crouching into a fighting stance. "That gun is useless. I already know it only has two bullets left. By the time you fire it, I'll have removed your intestines."
The saiyan's gaze was not on Koola, but instead had drifted behind him, appearing to look at another person. "Hehe... Its about time you've shown up, Vejita. Would you care to do the honors?"
The changeling's eyes widened a moment and he dropped down, dodging the assumed gunshot from the other saiyan in hopes that it would strike Reijin instead. As he dropped, he spun to fend off his other attacker... only to find noone there.
"I will give you the same honor you gave to Akane. This bullet will leave nothing more than a pile of ruined flesh where you have died."
The dark fighter pulled the trigger on the sniper rifle, his viewpoint aimed directly at the changeling's head from merely three feet away.

Thoughts proceeded to interject the focus of the world surrounded by the saiya-jin king. Reality was once again snatched from his feeble brain as he reconciled his lifetime to scrounge for further incentive to guard himself of this unexpected assault. The prospects of Vejita's future were swept forth into his mind with the addition of his rigorous journey throughout the years. From the renouncing of his throne, to the adventures of the afterlife, the combating of his own self-confidence, to Sativa and Nubian, and even the fierce recollections of his year imprisonment by the resistance forces that compelled him into a realm of insanity.
Then, there was the execution of his own flesh, the symbol of his dynasty in the place of his offspring Vejita II. After deliberation, the value of this war was still conflicting with it all with overwhelming proportion. This competition was his entry into the life he desired, the life that he was hell-bent on attaining.
His brain was null of these ideas and his muscles were rejuvenated with a strength of unknown origins. Vejita's limb was empowered with an involuntary power specifically as it shifted upwards to rearrange the rifles guidance. The changeling's retort to this defensive was visible through his modified expression. Koola?s fate was sealed even with every optimistic tactic he could ponder. The saiya-jin king?s fingers clasped over the metallic surface of the weaponry and with the jerk of his arm the object was declined of access to the United soldier.
Vejita hissed momentarily and expressed a cackling laughter of malicious glee. He had instituted a position of dominance and he was definitely willing to provide verification for this transforming warrior. King Vejita?s backhand presented itself to his adversaries cheek with lethargically with only the intention of mentally disgracing the soldier of all dignity.
?Oh how I enjoy the fast beat of your heart. Thump, thump, thump, as you attempt to locate an opportunity for your survival. There is no willing hero that will save your damned soul from the eternal depths of hell. Enjoy your breath as you realize it as your last.? Vejita?s mocking was infuriating the changeling while it simultaneously struck him with minimal strength. The commander of Dante?s eyes were a portrayal of the demonic creature surfacing from the shadows of his miniature body. Koola cringed from the agonizing torture, but with a leap of faith he deposited his strength into a defensive.
His knuckles spiraled through the atmosphere as they were acquainted with the exasperating sight of Vejita?s curling lips. The blow was effective and the saiya-jin crouched slightly to the terrain to retrieve his strength. The changeling?s weight shifted as he had predicted and he toppled above the corpses of his fellow soldiers. Each of his fingers crept through the limited vegetation to clasp any objects that would aid him while he rummaged for his weapon.
His world was collapsing all around him with fate seemingly pre-determining his impending future. A hefty quantity of sweat steered itself down his bizarrely outlined face while his ki rifle seemed to inch itself into his vicinity with every moment that drifted. ?Death stands in your very home, and your powers are bound by the crutch of a weapon.? King Vejita?s introduction to the setting was mayhem to the changeling fighter as the muffles of his foot steps could be noted by him.
Each placement his foot asserted upon the planetoid, Koola monitored with sheer reliance of a great distance between them. Thump. Thump. Thump. They were almost synchronized with the pumping of his heart as it proceeded to construct trepidation throughout him. Even Vejita?s breathing was known to the United warrior as he scurried at an inch from the weapon. ?I can?t....stop...? His words were fumbling under the immense fear cast by this situation.
The chilling temperature of the steel tingled his fingers and he shifted his weight once again with his menacing eyes parallel to the commander?s. His fingers recognized the position of the trigger and it was inched from it?s original position with the energy of the mighty canon being unleashed forth for the sight of the king.

ooc: I'm making this take place after Reijin's post.
Reijin pulled the trigger, aiming right at the changelings head. He heard the click and waited for the bullet to arrive from the barrel to kill the changeling once and for all. But nothing happened. The saiyan shook the gun for a second and tried again. Still nothing.
Using that time to act, Koola jumped backwards and stuck his confused foe with his elbow. The angry saiyan stubbled back, still holding the gun. Koola then grabbed his attacker with his tail, and quickly wrapped it around his leg. He then pulled it back, tripping the saiyan and causing him to fall back.
Koola remained balanced on his only working leg, trying to stay intimidating. He began to taunt his foe once more. ?It has no more bullets you fool. You?re holding a useless weapon.?
?I beg to differ!? he yelled back, throwing the gun back at it?s owner. Koola tried to grab it, but it was thrown too fast. It hit him in the stomach and he fell back. The changeling thought fast and used his tail like a spring and hopped back up on one leg. By then, Reijin had gotten up and charged for Koola.
The blue fighter ducked to avoid the fist punch, but fell short, and was hit directly in the face. Changeling blood spewed out of his face as he tried to retaliate. He gave the saiyan a quick jab to the face, but the warrior took it as if it were nothing. ?Heh, you?ve gotten weaker, Koola.?
Reijin then struck Koola?s stomach with his knee. Koola stuttered back a moment, trying to regain his footing. However, the deadly saiyan struck out his hand, charging a small ball of Ki in his hand. ?This is for Akane!? he yelled, firing the blast.
?No!? Koola shouted, throwing the useless gun in front of the blast. It intercepted the death blow and exploded in midair. ?I?m not dying that easy!? Koola took the opportunity to fire his own Ki blast at the saiyan. It blew him back momentarily, allowing the changeling price to escape.
Or not.
Vejita was standing right behind him, cutting off his escape. He stood tall, knowing the end was near. ?Where are you going, changeling? Why don?t you stay and fight?? he said, getting into a fighting stance. Koola looked back, shaking his head from the blow.
?It?s about time you shown up, Vegita. Would you care to do the honors?? The two saiyans laughed as they closed in, ready to kill a wounded and cornered changeling. Koola looked back and forth, unable to make a decent strategy. He knew the end was near.
Then, a gunshot ran out, and both Koola and Reijin looked toward the sound. ?Vejita! Duck!? yelled out Reijin. The king of saiyans crouched down, barely missing the sniper bullet coming from the walls of Monte Cristo. Koola looked closer to see that his old pal, Flemings, was aiming at the battleground, trying to kill a saiyan or two.
ooc: I implied a lot of things in this post. For starters, there were no more bullets left in the gun. Second, Vejita still has bad hearing as far as I know. Finally, Flemings(my NPC) is trying to help me by sniping you guys from afar.

Update:
Dante has pushed into the Fortress and an all out melee brawl has erupted. United's defense arn't holding them at the wall so must retreat back a little.
Paragus is currently in the fight with the charging Dante units.
Koola's kill is unsuccessful and Vejita I takes a shot in the shoulder. Koola will fall to either Rei or Vejita I. One of them can roleplay it.
Raikinesis soldiers from United have become hurling water on enemies and lighting them with electricity. Not a fatal trick, but a distraction.
As it stands, Dante has penetrated the wall and is now fighting to finish the job. United still has less troops, and no longer has the advantage they had when it was just catapults and artillary

The charge had come, and there stood the android commander covered in blood. Two of his own soldiers killed right in front of his eyes, and with there deaths came the bath of their blood. From the exit wounds mass quantities splashed outwards, covering the commander in the red liquid.
?The blood of my soldiers will not be in vein. I will wear it proudly, as I wear my United uniform,? Sixteen muttered, taking a step forwards and lifting the butt of his ki rifle to his shoulder.
The battle was forcing the United army, but he was determined to make his stand. Paragus would come, this was the fact. Gokua would aid him from afar, while he fought from below. His defense was failing, but there were still maneuvers in his arsenal that Gokua would implement at any second.
?Men, do you see there leaders? They have not come to join the party! Lets take advantage of that mistake and push them back!? Screamed the android, projecting his voice over top his units head.
With that, Hundreds of Gokua?s kenesis units poured onto the walls, launching water then electricity down on the enemy. That was his signal to advance, it was his signal to push the opposition back out of his fortress.
?CHARGE!?
Four hundred of his best men, erupted in a roar of obedience as they entered the fight. Looking up, Sixteen noticed his plan of diversion worked perfectly. The electricity had many of Dante?s front line in disarray, making them easy prey. Laughing for the first time in a long while, the machine eased on the trigger firing a three burst shot from his rifle. Each bullet connected with the midsection of one Dante soldier, dropping him instantly in a pool of his own blood.
As the electricity and water fell down upon them, and United special forces advanced, Dante kept there feet moving forwards. They were determined to take the fortress, and throughout the pain they continued to their goal. ? We must stop them in their tracks, do no let them through!? the commander howled, squeezing the trigger once more.
Two of the oppositions fighters passed through the firefight, and charged him with full confidence. With a smile on his face, Sixteen jerked his finger once more. The burst shots screamed out of the barrel, but were amazingly dodged with a small sidestep. ?Impressive!? he called out, welcoming his opponents to continue.
The two ignored his call, and let off a burst of their own, still galloping forwards. The apparatus leaned to his left, kicking off the ground with his right. The push forced himself upwards, dodging each ki charge with ease. ?But not good enough!? laughed the android commander, skidding back to the ground.
With another burst shot, the soldier to his left was terminated instantly, while the other continued his death march. It was clear now, that his weapon was shacking in his grip. His eyes were wide open, showing the lack of sleep he must have gotten. The soldier was only a foot away, as he ripped a knife from his best, slashing it upwards at the commanders face. Sixteen?s reaction time was as crisp as ever, leaning backwards just enough to evade the blade, then with a thrust of his right hand the android rammed his fist into the face of the enemy.
The metallic design of the massive hand, pushed through the mans jaw, up into his skull, and bursting out the other side. ?Flawless Victory!? Sixteen boomed, scanning around for more soldiers who?d made it through the diversion.

The two armies had now clashed in a heated battle at the foot of the fortress. It was really heating up now as gun shots were fired left and right. The sights of bodies crumpling to the ground in a puddle of blood and filth danced in the pupil of the saiyan warrior. It was times like these that he liked only having one eye. He didn?t have to see everything that was going on. Para lifted the strap off his broad shoulder and aimed the gun into the crowd. He was ready for anything that came at him. He pulled the trigger.
A perfectly placed shot to the heart sent a Dante soldier collapse to his knees. Para stood there with his gun pointed in his direction and watched the man he just shot die. Another soldier grabbed him from behind and tried to choke the saiyan. Para wiggled his way free and bludgeoned his opponent in the face with the broad side of his rifle. As he writhed in pain on the floor he put another blast in his chest. Para had never had to mercilessly kill before, but it was either Para?s life or his and it wasn?t going to be the saiyans.
His own men were fighting behind him as well as being shot down to their death. Monte Cristo would be their final resting place. Para closed his eyes and muttered a swift prayer for all the men and continued his fight.
?Don?t let up!?
Para wasn?t paying as much attention as he should have to the fight before him and a Dante soldier had him in his cross hairs. A United soldier leaped in front of him a took a massive blast to his abdomen and fell to the ground coughing up his own blood. Para stood in awe of the soldiers loyalty to United, but also felt terrible that he sacrificed his own youth to save his General.
Para?s eyes were now lit up with anger as he charged the man that killed his comrade. The man couldn?t reload fast enough and the saiyan didn?t care. A look of shock came over the mans face before it was blown clear off. His white glove was now stained with the blood he wiped off his tan skinned face. The saiyan warrior looked around at the people he had killed all ready, he want like this. He want a killer, at least not anymore, not since that horrible day back on planet Vegeta.
Para snapped out of his recollection of the bad times of his life and continued to fight. ?Hold them back. Don?t let up!? Para re-emphasized what he had said earlier hoping that his men would take it to heart once more.
?Is this all you have Dante.? Para murmured to himself under his breath causing a smirk to lay across his scarred face. ?Is this what had me scared to go into battle? Para had overcome his fear of the war. It was behind him now, he had finally conquered it.
Para stared back at the portion of his army that was still breathing. He lifted his arm into the darkened sky of battle with pride. His troops saw and responded with a battle cry that shook Dante?s forces. This fight was about to turn around. He could feel it. He lifted his rifle once more and wielded it right in front of his torso.
?To united. To Victory? He spoke softly to himself as he charged into the crowd once more followed by the support of his powerful regiment.
