32 Ways to Die - Sum 41
I believe All Killer No Filler was my first CD, and I loved Sum41 so much back then that I got Half Hour of Power, their first CD. I still love their old stuff (I didn't really enjoy Chuck all that much).

Give It Away - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Honestly I don't listen to them as much as I should, but one day at school I went on a music rampage and just downloaded a ton of shit, RHCP being one of the bands I ransacked.

Also, Bojack, Thunderhorse ftw. <--- =D

I recently put some RHCP on my Ipod, which was WAY overdo. I've been getting back into a lot of stuff from when I first started listening to rock as well, including Sum 41.

Round 2!11!:

Sin City - AC/DC
-I saw a live version of this on Youtube, never heard it before then. I fell in love and went to get the cd soon after. One of my favorite AC/DC songs (probably 4th or 5th).

Still Waiting - Sum 41
-What are the odds this would come up in this post? xD Anyway, this had to be one of the first rock songs I heard back on the radio. It was when I first started to confine myself to my room and listen to the Alternative Rock station all day. This had to be my favorite band from back then.

Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley
-Getting Rickroll'd made me appreciate how great this song is.

You Got Another Thing Comin' - Judas Priest
-This is really a classic and I've been hearing it on tv/movies for years and never figured it out. It even went over my head on Vice City. It wasn't until a VH1 special that I discovered Judas Priest and this great song.

Tangerine - Led Zeppelin
-I bought Led Zeppelin 3 because it had 'Immigrant Song' on it (after seeing the cameo of this song in School of Rock), thinking all the other songs were insignificant. I was wrong. This song reminds me of my mother, and one day I'll visit her grave and play it for her on my guitar. Most likely this summer.

Hooray! This is fun game woo.

Empty Space - Tri-State Conspiracy
A high school friend of mine got me into this band (the Tri-State refers to the tri-state area of NJ, NY and CT) a year or two ago. They have awesome shows, they play swing ska and stuff. I love it.

Help! - The Beatles
Wow I haven't listened to them in a while. I should again.

Give Me Novacaine - Green Day
I don't listen to them too much, but I spent an all-nighter of Calc homework one time listening to all of their CDs in succession. Also I'm wearing the American Idiot tour shirt that my roommate gave me. He didn't want it anymore but I like the white seam on black shirt thing it has going on. It's sexy.

Who Are They? - Buck-O-Nine
This song was on my friend's brother's mix that he made when I was in like 5th grade. I like them but I don't have any of their CDs or anything. I should get on that.

Whisper - Alien Ant Farm
Haha wow. No explanation needed.

The Yardbirds - The Train Kept A-Rollin'

Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton; three of your five-a-day, in my opinion.

The Game - Disturbed

I got in a fight with my wife about a year ago and went driving. <.< Bad thing to do when you're angry, but I stopped at a Best Buy and saw the album that has this track on a random shelf. I picked it up and only really listen to it when I'm pissed.

Shadow on the Sun - Audioslave

I'm a huge Chris Cornell fan, and I immediately bought Audioslave's first album when it came out. This is my favorite track on the CD.

Something I Can Never Have - Flyleaf

I heard this on Launchcast and decided to buy it on iTunes. The lyrics really fit what I was feeling at the time, so I listen to it a lot. It's a Nine Inch Nails cover, but it's still good.

Heroes - Shinedown

I'unno, I'm not a big Shinedown fan, but this song is good. I heard it on the radio and bought it on iTunes.

December - Collective Soul

This was the first real song that I learned how to play on the guitar.

Welcome to Paradise - Green Day
No real story for this one. I like Green Day, so I bought this album (Dookie).

Give It Up - Captain Jack
Heh. So, I played in a pep band (trombone, btw) my freshmen year in college (I also played all through high school, but that's neither here nor there). One of the songs we played was "Centerfold." The arrangement we played was great, but it had been ages since I had heard the original. So I jumped on to iTunes to see if I could download it there. What I found was not the original version of "Centerfold" but rather a remix by Captain Jack -- known for his contributions to the "Dance Dance Revolution" soundtracks. So I just bought the whole album. This is one of the songs from it.

Stalker - The Pillows
My roommate and I both like watching anime. Well, we went through this huge FLCL phase and were determined to figure the series out. In the process of doing so, my roommate decided he really liked the ending theme of that series: "Ride on Shooting Star" by The Pillows. He downloaded a couple albums by them trying to get that song. This was on one of the album. btw, the pillows ftw.

Shing Jea Monastery - Jeremy Soule
This is one of the background themes from the game Guild Wars: Faction. The soundtrack came free with a pre-order of the game. Great music for a game, but pretty boring to just listen to.

History of a Boring Town - Less Than Jake
Oh hell yes. This is, in all seriousness, my favorite song ever written. I was introduced to Less Than Jake by a friend of mine (who is also the roommate I talked about under "Stalker") during eighth grade. I bought the album this is on -- Hello Rockview -- when I was up in Spokane (the only good thing to come out of that fucking piece of shit city, by the way) but never actually listened to it. Afterwards, wanting absolutely nothing to do with anything that had anything to do with Spokane, I tossed this CD into the back of my closet and moved on to Border and Boundaries (another LTJ album). I completely forgot about it until my friend asked me if I had ever heard of Hello Rockview one day at school. When I got home, I dug it out of my closet and cried tears of joy when this song started playing. People talk about things that help them get through tough times... this song did that for me. Seriously, it has never failed to bring a smile to my face, and I have no idea why.

Vertical Horizon- I'm Still here

I believe Burter used this somewhere a while back, and thats why I downloaded it. Pretty good.

Der Fuehrer's Face- Spike Jones

WWII Propaganda? Yes please.

When I come around- Greenday

My nephew is a big green day fan so I got alot of them on my play list. I like em too, though so no complaining.

Point/Counterpoint- Streetlight Manifesto

The song that introduced me to ska. It was a rough introduction. I hated this song the first three times I listen to it. But I kept coming back for more and I ended up loving it.

History of a Boring Town - Less Than Jake

Thunderstruck - AC/DC
Warmup song once again. I seem to have like every single one >.>

Don't Fuck With Us - John Cena Ft Trademark
It's a song I personally like. It gets me pumped, I listen to this song before a game or a fight. I came across this song when I heard John Cena having an album.(As a ignorant kid back then) I actually listened to his album.. But this and Right Now are the only ones I liked throughout the whole album.

That's That Shit - Snoop Dogg Ft R.Kelly
This song is a referral from a friend. I find the melody and beat soothing so I listen to it at times.

Grillz - Nelly Ft Paul Wall
I know I know... Paul Wall is white... But... I like his songs, and he looks like the biggest retard with those grillz lol. But this song is pretty nice, I personally like Nelly alot.

Hip Hop Is Dead - Nas
What can I say? Nas is good >.>

Heel Over Head - Puddle of Mudd

Somebody asked me to cover this song, so I bought it from iTunes. Awesome song, but it's hard on the voice. >.<

Fell In Love With A Girl - White Stripes

A song my wife leaked into my playlist, I guess. She's a big White Stripes fan for whatever reason. The song's okay, but I usually find them annoying.

Come Together - Soundgarden

Hell yes, the best cover of this Beatles classic. And trust me, there are a lot of them.

Stalker - The Pillows

Hell, I'm not sure I believe it either, Rad.

Vibrations (Live)- Sackeyhack

<.< My own band. I wrote this song with my band backstage, like, an hour before the show started. It's kind of funny, since it's one of our most popular. >.> And by kind of funny, I mean really odd. Either way, we recorded a live version and here it is.

Gokua... those song titles speak volumes.

Volumes.

For the sake of diversity my list comes just from the "best of's" cd collection that I have, since my stock of albums is filled almost exclusively with mega-popular bands.

The Cars/touch and go (everyone should have at least one Cars cd)
Carpenters/we've only just begun (you know who they are, even if you don't realize it)
The Drifers/up on the roof (i don't like 99% of their songs, but this cd has what i do like)
ARC/darkmatter (techno/grunge cd by Lowtax, webmaster of SA.com)
Dean Martin/little ole wine drinker, me (dean martin is awesome)
