That would just make no sense to me at all. They've been trying to make LoL a legitimate, global e-sport and adding something that is only applicable to certain portion of the players is like taking a step backwards from that.

Not permanently. Sounds like she might be out ~6 months before we see her.

I keep seeing that while she is based on the 'gumiho', the name is definitely not picked yet. She is always just referred to as "the fox". The only thing they have for sure is the concept, and that they are going to donate the money made from her for the first 6 months of service. Even the skills are super iffy.

It looks like a lot of the Korean fans are unhappy with their choice because of that same Naruto comparison that Belle made. They want something more uniquely Korean.

As far as trying to become an e-sport, that is heavily dependent on South Korea's acceptance of the game. Playing video games 'professionally' isn't really accepted anywhere like it is in SK. Most of the interviews I have read are saying that they want to put most of the season 2 money into SK. They're pretty damn concerned with Dota 2. The CEO flew to Seoul for this, that's how serious they are.

They are also offering free transfers from the NA servers (where Korean players are reportedly the majority of the top players) so that they don't have to play against 'novices'. Though, they've stated that they aren't going to IP block the region so transferring is optional.

There is no release date for either the champion or the Korean service. They are currently accepting applications for the closed beta.

They want the Korean players to transfer so they can try to get some pro circuits going, giving them a (timed) exclusive Champion (also saw a lot about getting the champion for free if you were a level 30 transfer? not super sure though) is one way to encourage that.

Locus of Power: Xerath anchors himself to source of magical power, increasing the range of all spells and granting him bonus % Magic Penetration. Although he is immobilized while Locus of Power is active, his movement speed increases upon disabling the ability.

Mage Chains: Deals magic damage to an enemy and marks them with Unstable Magic. The next spell Xerath strikes this enemy with stuns them.

The hell is up with his passive? That can't be final can it? It doesn't fit with the rest of his kit at all nor his role. A long range nuker needs extra armor? Aren't they supposed to hit hard and be squishy, not hit hard and be a building?

I wonder if flash works with locus. Not a huge deal, but can be important depending on how long it takes him to switch between rooted and mobile. As for the passive, sure. Just facilitates the complete ignoring of defensive items like I usually do anyway.

Curious as to the percentage, though. Could be garbage(10%) or insane(40%) so I'm hoping it's 25
