So I'm looking forward to this game, but the ingame footage is pretty underwhelming so far. It looks just like wow with star wars, which is eh for me. I was hoping for something amazing..

Guess I'll have to wait in see, I guess.

For the most part that looked like the parts of champ spotlights where the champ autoattacks jarvan to death

At least in the first half, like 5 of the sith he attacked were just sort of standing there besides the ones trying to cap the computer thing. Looks interesting though and slower-paced than most games, which I might like.

So Vad, which faction are you wanting to play? I could swing both ways (teehee) I know Chris wants Republic, I reckon we should roll on the same server (which for me means getting a US copy - did i mention region locking can suck my dick - but that'll probably be cheaper tbh). Whichever faction I am, my first class is going to be melee, single-bladed over dual.

Just another reason to get the US copy. Though I, too, would be tempted not to buy on principle, it's also gonna be an awesome game with people I know playing =O

I'm rolling a Bounty Hunter on a PvP server. That means I'll be part of the Sith Empire. If I somehow get forced to play on the Republic side I'll probably be a Smuggler or Trooper with some consideration being thrown into a Jedi Knight. >.>

Just pre-ordered it. I actually have an extra pre-order code from Comic-Con if anyone wants it.

And I hate you all for getting into the beta. I have been waiting for this game since before you all were even a twinkle in your mother's eye.

And yeah Chris, which other Chris would it be =P We talked about it before, you said Jedi over Sith.

I'll just join whichever side most people wanna play. If I absolutely had to choose, Sith would probably have a slight advantage. PvP server is an unquestionable yes.

Class chosen: gonna be a Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow. Tank/mage/rogue FTW

I got to play in the weekend beta testing thing as a smuggler. And you can't spell smuggler without SMUG. Needless to say, I was an asshole.

I got about 2 minutes into a Sith Warrior before my ping shot up to over 200k. Luckily, by the time the game actually comes out my internet will NOT be at a school.

I've been invited to an 'upcoming' weekend test so I have no idea when it's gonna be but woo! Been waiting to play this game for so long. And apparently the female Bounty Hunter is also voiced by Jennifer Hale, so woo! I will probably be playing Sith-side more but doubtless gonna roll some Republic alts.
