How did we go about pissing off and losing probably the best staff member we have? No offense to anyone else on staff, but while you all may be well liked and Burter not so much... he did all the stuff you wouldn't do, like enforcing rules, so what if he was a prick sometimes. it was funny. He made all the good sagas recently, like we saw in PCIII, a dud, he didn't run it. How'd you guys manage to piss off and lose the best saga staff member we have, the best rule enforcer we have, and a guy who generally does alot of work for the site. What the hell happened?

How about WHY she's being offered that position? Because it sure as fuck can't be roleplaying activity. Being Staff Material and being an Active Roleplayer are two qualities that are not part of the same skillset.

In fact, in most cases they seem to be mutually exclusive.

So. Why?

Oh boy. Well, since the shit has apparently hit the fan, I'll go ahead and be totally honest here. I'm kind of with these guys in wondering why Akane was chosen as staff. I really don't understand that whole deal since she's been here a maximum of 3 weeks. I very much doubt shes experienced enough time on the RPG and earned enough trust to be on the staff, honestly. Now their may be something I'm unaware of, like you guys know her and what she's capable of. So maybe I'm wrong in my assumption, but I really saw other people being chosen other than her.

The whole Bra and Burter thing - Burter I've noticed since I came back is a lot of the times pretty offensive to people. Whether they deserve it or they don't, and it's not always funny. This is, what I assume, is why he was pushed down a rank. But that's an issue that should have been discussed with him about. I really don't think it was deserving of his position being lowered down, unless he was unwilling to go about being more careful about what he says. He's done a lot, but I won't say he's "the hardest working staff member". Not because I don't think he is, but because theirs some things that we DON'T see. Speaking of that, I really can't say anything about Bra being demodded because I don't have access in the staff forums so I can't say what he does there.

All in all, I've got faith in your decisions, but I also realize people do make mistakes sometimes. And I can honestly say I really think this is one of those times.

This staff shuffle has been in the works for the past couple of months or so, just so everyone knows. It wasn't that we just woke up and decided to change everything, though I'm sure it looks like that.

Wait did you guys make Aqua, Goten, & Super Buu Story-Guide Level or they were considered however it went to Cel, 20, Akane? Or did them 3 get a different staff position? Confuzzled atm, want to make sure I understand everything correctly before I see how I'll react.

I am interested as to why Android 20 and Akane were made staff.

Reasons:

Android 20: Awesome, great, super guy, draw back: always super busy and barely around.

Akane: She seems nice(that's all I got due to the fact that she hasn't been around for that long. Drawback: been here for 3 weeks, obviously hasn't earned my member support/respect.

My 2 cents.

Also, I don't see why Burter should be demoted when we have staff that does less work, and by less I mean next to nothing, and they're Super Mod.


EDIT: But again, I don't know all the facts, for all I know you guys know something I don't, which is probably the case. I'm just saying what I see, but again, I have faith in you guys, I just seriously hope that you don't do something so rash that you end the excitement that is Chubbs.

I think idol finalists should have been picked before anyone else. Just because that was what that competition was based on, finding out who was fit to be staff. I'm not big on ooc, and popularity, but i think the older members should definatly have gotten a post before someone so new.

They all may be very active, but everyone has times where they are very active, so if that was a factor i can't say that i'd agree. Now i have no idea what these people are like OOC, but they all are good rpers and i've never once seen any of them get into serious trouble.

Like i said before, i probably would've picked more seasoned vets (Super Buu, Pan, 17, Zarbon, and maybe kid buu).

First Mistake: screwing Burt. Seriously, we all may have our problems with Burt, but his job as a staff member surpasses several others here. I say that with complete confidence.

Second: Even CONSIDERING AKANE for staff. She's been here THREE WEEKS. THREE WEEKS, guys. What the HELL does someone know about running an RPG in three weeks, especially Chubbs?

Personally, I don't WANT to be a staff member here at chubbs. I was tweaked about it before, but lately, I've had quite a change of heart. I've got a lot on my plate now and know that there are several others that are more apt to do the job than I can, and hella lot more than a newbie kid.

I know I seem harsh, but I am seriously pissed here, guys. So pissed I am considering on following Burt on out the door.


EDIT: And if you guys are considering IC activity level? Come the fuck on. I've been here since january and accumulated like, 209 posts IC. I've been slacking lately due to life reasons, but if that is the angle you guys were going at, I should have been staffed on the second day I was here. >=(

The only thing I have to add is how ironic this situation is for me. Just when I see an event that I actually want to participate in, something stupid happens and I get screwed out of it.
