Nope it's the truth, I knew this was going to be one of those types of stories.

The first bad guy choice I made was to keep a bunch of food for myself. In the game the rationalization was "Well, it's crazy out here, and my friends and I can be well fed for weeks with all this stuff if I zap one guy with some lightning..." It wasn't "Oh I LOVE being EVIL so I'm going to KILL EVERYONE and take their food!" which I appreciated.

It saddened me a lot that inFAMOUS was only coming out for the PS3, as I loved a morale type free-roam game (like San Andreas with a twist but instead of guns you had lightning, which obviously wasn't a problem)

Then I found Prototype, which sadly decided to ditch the morale system, but instead focused on insane parkour, extreme amount of violence and of course the great "IT'S HIM!" patsy-move. It's out for all consoles though, so PS3 players can get everything (those bastards, XBox 360 really didn't work out for me on this one.)

If not familiar with Prototype, just look here. Get the age restriction right though, as it will use everything in its' power to keep you out, and that includes resetting internet and whatnot. My friend had great problems with that when he accidentally entered the wrong thing. Also, don't mind the nation thing unless you're from one of the nations that does not have English as it's birth language, as it seems that's really all it changes if you pick it.

PS3 players get the shaft on a lot of DLC, for the record. You have that going for you.

I really haven't found a DLC worth getting yet.

I'm restocking my cash at the moment, bought a Wii instead of a PS3 because I was sure it'd be so worth it when family and friends came over.

Just about sad that whenever I feel like gaming I do not feel like smashing my arm crazily around in a frenzy of dancing and go 'WTF THAT WAS NOT WHAT I DID'.

I have a Wii as well, it's fun but the novelty wears off fast and Nintendo hasn't been doing very much quality control, the games using the motion controller are becoming more and more mediocre.

I like it as it's fun, but I think Nintendo has been jacking customers for a shitty gimmick while slapping you with the shittiest graphics of this generation- I wouldn't even call it a next gen console, more like 6.5th generation.

I just bought GTA4 last night, but between Street Fighter 4 and Pro Evolution soccer 09, I wonder when I'll actually open the CD casing. I still haven't even completed San Andreas. I'll just have to complete the two GTA's simultaneously when that time comes.

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

It took awhile, but I finally did both Evil and Good Cole on InFamous- the black lightning is badass.

I just bought Final Fantasy VII for $9.99 on the Playstation Store, and will be playing it on my PS3 as soon as it finishes downloading.

Just, you know, fyi.

Still waiting for UPS to show up with a box and shipping label so I can send my 360 off.

It's an impractical paperweight and that's the only thing it's good for right now.

What kind of D&D games do people like to play? I'm guessing most people will go the KOTOR route, but did anyone else get into Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights?

All three ++.

Well NWN2 was pretty disappointing, but that may have been because when I got it my comp was shitty and it didnt downscale to well. I should try it again.

Also buying FFVII, havent played it in years.

I'll probably break down and buy FFVII myself.

The only thing I didn't like about the NWN2 campaign is that it definitely does not support all the different classes equally. To anyone who ends up playing it, don't roll Paladin. You're better off going Fighter or Cleric. And don't take the stupid Divine Champion prestige.

EDIT: Actually, Cleric is a pretty good suggestion. All you get until 3/4 through the game is a Druid.

I was a sucker for the BG games. I think they're awesome. Never played NWN but people keep telling me I should.

I loved KOTOR, and also enjoyed NWN 1 and 2. Kaden, Waff and I spent quite a bit of time playing the first act of NWN1, and made some progress into 2. I generally prefer playing NWN multi-player rather than solo.

The Witcher was a pretty great RPG in the Bioware vein.
