It is quite a tempting offer actually....

On one hand, Vegeta is one of the best characters from DBZ. The amount of character development put in him by the creators of DBZ is most incredible and his personality is already developed...and a GOOD one at that. This is quite fitting for those who have trouble developing personalities of their characters. Not only that, the character has some history. Basicly, Vegeta is already a well placed character.

On the other hand though, one cannot be too sure if he can roleplay Vegeta well. While I`m tempted to join in this competition, I have already roleplayed Vegeta once and it didn`t work out as I had hoped. But thats also possibly beacuse I was involved in several RPGs. But in any case, its a risk. Not only that, people lose their old character and everything they worked ICly in the past. Their old characters in the mean time could have become a part of them and their own personall trademark.

It is a preety difficult and risky decision, but very rewarding if it pays off.

I'll try and make this little competition as short and sweet as possible.

~~~TASK ONE~~~
For the first part, let's start off with a scenario Roleplay. You are Vegeta, and you have 6 dragonballs. The last and seventh dragonball is in the possession of (anyone you want) and this person is standing but a few feet in front of you. The only way to get the ball is to fight him/her. Roleplay fighting this person, and winning, but make it interesting. Fight with Vegeta how you will act in a CDBZ saga or something, so I can tell just how you will handle him. After winning the seventh dragonball, summon the dragon and make one wish, one wish for anything. This gives me an idea on how would persue Vegeta's future.

EDIT: For the fight, use any moves that you know Veggie has, and as far as abilities, you have SSJ, IT, Oozaru.

I want good RPing, interesting but not too long, remember, I have a baby to feed. lol

Well I was gonna have you PM me with the RPs, but I figured others would like to see how you would RP Veggie as well, so go ahead and reply here with your RPs. I'll give you two days to complete this task. Wed will be the deadline. I will give unspoken points for each person rating on how well I saw them play Vegeta. And at the very end of the competition, I will announce the winner, and everyone's points based on my views. Thank you, and let the best Vegeta win!

that's a lot to do in just one post, but I'm on it boss.

With his long flowing raven locks, he stared down Vegeta with glazed eyes. His path, his destiny had led him to this very moment. One man, one being stood in his way to glory and for the king, that wouldn?t do. They had been rivals and now, they were enemies. Each possessed what was needed by the other and there was only one way to earn the very thing they wanted. A fight would need to ensue, both of them knew it, but neither wanted to speak it. At long last this would end, one destiny would be seen as another died. Together they would fight, and together, one would fall.

?Tch. Enough looked at each other already, I?m getting bored.? spoke the long haired menace before him.

Vegeta merely smiled at his adversary. On normal occasions, a simple threat to send him to the afterlife would do, but today words couldn?t describe the emotions that were lingering within his soul. Deep down he knew this day would come, but so soon, was he ready? This he did not know, but one thing remained true within the Sayajin lord was that he was king and this fool was his pawn.

?Today is the day we finally see it through.? Vegeta shouted to the air. ?Raditzu versus Vegeta??

The King paused briefly, watching the light within his foe?s eyes brighten.

?the final chapter.? he finished as he tugged off his denim coat and flung it to the ground. Looking up, through the shadows, Vegeta smiled once more. Lifting his hand, he stuck out one finger, aimed directly at Raditzu. ?bow to your king.?

Suddenly, Vegeta vanished from sight, leaving Raditzu off guard. Twisting his body, he found his quick rival as he thrust a fist forward. Catching the appendage, the long haired warrior spun the king around, threatening to launch him into the air. Thinking quickly, the king slammed his feet into the arm pit of his foe, striking the nerve, instantly releasing his grasp on his arm. Flipping backwards, the mighty Sayajin kind landed on his feet and lunged forward. Driving his knee hard into Raditzu?s jaw, there was a loud snap as tendons broke in his face. Twisting his body in mid air, he delivered a straight kick to the long haired menace, flinging his body backwards. Landing daintfully on his feet, Vegeta took a moment to catch his breath.

?Son of a?do you realize how much that hurt?? shouted Raditzu as he rubbed his jaw.

Vegeta laughed mockingly.

?That?s the point you brainless fool. One of us is going to die right here, right now, there?s no point in fooling around anymore,? snarled Vegeta. ?It?s time to end this.?

A swirl of brilliant color ran up Vegeta?s body as he transformed into his most powerful state, Super Sayajin. Raditzu followed suit, brining his power much higher than the king?s. Together they were a pair of shining brilliance, a testament to true Sayajin power, but one was to be extinguished, which one was still unknown.

As Vegeta watched Raditzu?s energy rise, an idea suddenly hit him, victory, as it were, wasn?t to be won by brute strength alone. Conjuring up a plan, the Sayajin King smiled to himself when it all came together and his sudden air of enthusiasm ignited a flame within his adversary. Pride was one of the many strengths and weaknesses of the Sayajin race and it was this that was to end the life of either one of them. Placing his finger tips upon his forehead, Vegeta suddenly vanished, only to re-appear behind Raditzu. Grabbing onto the ball and vanishing once again, he left the long haired super Sayajin standing on a rock dumbfounded.

Having teleported to Arlia, Vegeta immediately began to dig into the ground. Removing three seeds from a pouch on his hip, he then buried them with the thick dirt. Within seconds, three beings tore free from the earth and whisked around in the air above the mighty king. Motioning for them to ready themselves, it was as though he, Vegeta, could telepathically tell these little creatures what the plan was.

Knowing that Raditzu was only seconds from finding him and teleporting to his location, the golden haired warrior tucked the seventh dragonball away and placed two fingers upon his forehead. Concentrating on his home planet, he felt the sudden disappearance of a strong force and within the blink of an eye, Raditzu appeared in all his glory.

?If you thought it was going to be that easy, you?re nu...earg!? shouted aggressor as he was tackled by the three super powered mini creatures. ?Get off me you dirty little bastards!?

Thinking quickly, Vegeta threw a status grenade forward, trapping Raditzu against the ground, still pinned down by the three seedlings. Smiling to himself, he knew that he had just defeated the mighty Sayajin himself, though he had not been killed, that wasn?t his intent, he had overcome the odds and found a way to get the dragonball.

Moving away from the status field, but close enough to torture Raditzu by forcing him to watch his wish, Vegeta placed the seven orange balls in a circle and took a few steps backwards. Crossing his arms over his chest, he sighed heavily, then made the command.

?Arise Shenron and grant me my wish.? shouted the king as he watched the spheres suddenly start glowing.

Seconds passed, though they seemed like hours, and finally they exploded outwards, sending a blinding light in all directions as a huge green dragon bellowed out from the center of the circle. Raising higher and higher into the sky, it seemed infinitely tall to the short warrior. As the radiance subsided, Vegeta smirked and made his wish.

?Shenron, grant me my wish.? began the king. ?I wish for the Universe?s grandest army so I can conquer those unfit to survive.?

Shenron?s eyes began to glow brightly and before long, they began to dim. Staring up at the giant dragon, Vegeta awaited the answer.

?It has been done, now I leave?? the dragon?s words were unheard as Vegeta turned from the hulking beast.

?Finally, my wish has been realized.? though the Sayajin king hungrily. ?Now, onto??

OOC: This is my wish, to have Vegeta lead an army and eventually conquer a planet?and I know just the one?
