Question: What is the natural line of sight for a unit or inhabited building? For example, if there was enemy unit(s) in a surrounding square, would we be notified by someone from that location or you or whatnot? (curious since I know United already sneaked Celipa in, and I'm wondering if they don't have more of their lackies in the border zone) Just wondering, since it seems like the only way to actually locate the enemy is to openly assault them or randomly stumble upon them.

Sorry to bug you man, but I just wrote up a roleplay, but where should I post it? Should I just post it in the "Seventeen's Squad Traveling Alone" thread?
Thanks man =) ![]()

You can see buildings a square away. You can't see units unless you send scouts.
You rp in the Kirono thread ![]() Want a cookie?

You still want to post there even though I'm no longer in/near the village?
Sorry, I just want to make sure I don't roleplay in the incorrect location, and I apologize if I'm becoming bothersome =/ ![]()

Fiddlesticks...lost =O
Anything important about these plains? Or are they just like, normal, grassy plains? Or are they like, all fetid and evil and schtuff? Or am I just free to interpret them as I see fit? (lol) I just want to make sure I roleplay 'em correctly. Thanks =) ![]()

Could Spies, placed within enemy ranks, be used to mitigate enemy advantage on their squares in some way? Say, sabotaging a fort's doors or something so that they can't close, lessening the overall defense?

What mitigates or enhances the risk? The player's roleplays compared to one another?

Yea, and the situation of what's going on. If the army puts a bunch of people at the door, the spy would have a hard time doing it without getting himself killed

Is the Dante forces in range of my Arterilly? If yes, I don't want them to fire yet, just curious.

You can attempt leaving at any time. For now, you're at Rad's location

Okay, so I can't technically move to any coordinates? Even if all I wanna do is "stumble" upon a wayward Konat or two? <_< >_>
Either way, thanks man. I'm just looking for a spark/idea to write while I wait for finals week to end =/ (boo finals!!1 *hisss*) ![]()

You said in the Outcasts vs Dante thread to decide what we are going to do, I'm a bit confused since this is my first battle in DA:C. Do you mean whether we are staying and fighting and what not? Or strategy in terms of what our units are to do?
12-13-2006, 04:22 AM
Yea, basically staying or leaving, but this is also a prime time to sort out what you're doing with your soldiers
