Waltz vs Fusion

Do you understand now, Reijin, that is wasn't just a matter of showing up 5 minutes later?

"Fire the cannons!"

*poof*

"Sir... um, an entire army just bamfed directly in front of us."

"How the fu- *slaughtered*"

Oh well, I guess. I'll try to get up a roleplay after work, if it matters, but I literally believed that our fight would have to finish before any other army was allowed to join in, or else we would have have chosen certain other movements a slight bit differently.
Regardless of whether or not it makes sense, those are the rules of the game, and it's naive to assume people aren't going to try and win however possible. I would have thought you understood this, having used AIM to track down people's death locations in DA earlier this year. >_>

Again, it makes total sense. The pre-battle stage took hours, not minutes. They used messengers to inform each other of the battle and came quickly.

I know, I'm just pointing out that Reijin's argument would seem a little silly even if their actions didn't make IC sense. Tongue

Not trying to bitch at Reimond here >_> just clarifying.

My messages were sent on Day 3. It turned Day 4 and the battle started

I had an initial plan of action lined up as I had ## of men on the battlefield for when you came and ## of men else wheres. And I had thought I had it specified that I wanted to do the initial battle alone. I had specified to my team specifics.

No one listened to me and obviously this has turned into brawn versus brawn with no brains attached. Of course I can possibly predict whats going to happen and be pretty acurate.

Now, I'm going to go get a shower and hope to god I'm still not pissed whenI get back.

I knew this would happen, though.

I have to agree, he could have held us off. Maybe. <.<;

Either way Retane, you should be thankful that Syntech has your back.

I'm going to agree with Grandpa Gohan's prediction of Pan's transformation.

Nothing like having an emotionally sparked transformation caused by the deaths of soldiers that hold no real emotional depth with the transforming character, other than constant suspicions of betrayal.

Not neccesarly. If a aquatiance of mine was to die in real life, I would snap from the emotional trama. If I saw someone die in front of me, I would.. do something. I don't know what, but I would be different. Death does that to a person.

Look at Casino royale. James Bond killed a man, and the girl cried for hours in the shower although she had no part in it. Death impacts people greatly.

And its also on personally. If Akane would have been saved, and then her savior died protecting her, she would snap as well.

You could have at least inserted a James Bond Spoiler alert sign here.

How is that a big spoiler? Isn't it obvious he kills people in the movie?

I agree with Akane. You guys are being over-cynical. I think Pan's doing a good job of building up and showing the emotional stress in his character. Shit, he could have just started off with Pan having already unlocked SSJ and SSJ2 - he's earnt them both, so he has that right. But he's chosen not to, purely for IC reasons. That shows that he values writing over power (unlike some others), and I, for one, dip my hat to him for it.

Yeah, I know. James Bond kills someone? What the hell, Akane?

If it counts for anything, I think Pan's set-up was good

Lol. I think it was more about the girl crying. I didn't think about it, but now upon thinking about it..

If you haven't seen it yet, you don't deserve not to hear spoilers. ^_^

I personally thought it was a good thing for Pan. I mean, seriously. She is a thirteen year old girl, in the middle of a bloody conflict. She is saved from a death by one of her soldiers, who dies protecting her. That is enough to make anyone snap.

On topic, I have to give Pan his props on his set up. This has turned interesting very quickly.

I agree with you + Reb. It's a nice setup.

My concern with Pan's roleplays are that the character acts way more intelligent that a 13 year old should. She acts like she has the maturity and the experience of a 30 year old. So, the "13 year old sees bloody conflict" doesn't buy it for me. I liked it for a different reason.

But, yea, Dana, you really gotta get the child thing down, or you stop referring to her as a just a 13 year old girl. Because that's what I thought she'd act like.
