I loved DA 06 although I was eliminated early. I might come back for this, it was a blast to be apart of and read. Good shit Burt.

Have you not been in DA before?

Its a combination of turn-based grid movement and RPing. You can't see where anyone else is on the grid, and if you run into someone else, you fight. Each participant also gets a weapon -- the weapons range anywhere from a stuffed Raditzu doll to a rapid-fire ki machine-gun -- but we're not told who has what.

Some people take a lot of time to plan shit out and figure out good teams and the best use of weapons (like Reijin) and other people just wander around and fun RPing and doing random shit (like me).

There's naturally a good bit of drama associated (which is probably why Burter said he enjoys reading all the discussion threads =P ) and it can get kind of intense. But its all in good fun and definitely something every Chubbsian should experience at least once.

I doubt I'd be able to maintain activity. But, from years past, I remember all my AIM buddies makin' a huge deal out of DA.

And to note. We only backstabbed 5, got an attempt of a backstab by Pikkon on us, then the Gokua sitation... All Tapions Idea..I swear... And then I wanted Tapion to have the Ki Sheild, so Raspberry had to go. =D

It was the nameks turn to point a confused eye at the konat, "No, the Battle Charger."

Though he was enraged, Tap couldn't help but offer a chuckle.

Hey. What are you talking about? If I hadn't ran into a Deadzone, I was actually going to go team up with Rad, because he needed some kind of weapon with a better 'effect'... and well I had all kinds of kool shit. Scythe, Nail Gun, Ki Sheild, and Grenades.

As it's been said, we didn't really even backstab anyone of notice. 15, the Gator guy... errr there was another one... and Gokua got the poison for suggesting Tapion use it on me and team with him.

It was part of my gimmic and it w interesting. And I'll have you know, I already promised another guy a chance to meet up and RP with me. So I'm looking to probably make it a threesome.

And crowds have their weakness. The more you have in a group, the better chance you have of being out shown.

Kind of how Bulma got killed, along with Paragus. Hell after that fight, that I got SNS, well it was kinda obvious of how I was going to keep on RPing.

But as usual, I don't think I'm going to change my main strategy that made the top 5 in 06.

If I can get a decent gimmick, in which I do have one in mind, then I shouldn't have a problem. But I do tihnk it will be quite interesting with no matter who I RP with.

Okay. You did alright in DA 07. You're really making yourself sound WAY better then you are. The majority of your kills were betrayals or NPC fights. Yes, it was a very good strategy but it was still sneaky and gave you the advantage in fights.

I'm not saying you did bad, but don't walk into the thread and act like you were the star last year. Anyone who dies by collar explosion should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. I was legitimately mad at you for not even caring because it was second year in a row a serious contender made a stupid mistake that cost them the game.

If anyone wants to learn something from Retane, it's pay attention when you're updating your map.

Fuck, dude, '06 was by far the best. Not because I was in it, but the overall drama and intensity of it, you know?

lol, that night made me sweat! Playing both sides on aim I was terrified something would go wrong, but alls well that ends well 8-)
