I don't like the idea of an uncleansable stun. I think the issue is way more about Mercury Treads reducing incoming damage when they really should only reduce the duration of CC effects.

edit: The counter to suppression is to stun/interrupt Malz or whoever has the channel causing the effect.

The problem with moves like Cleanse is that it completely ruins certain character's ults. Perhaps if they changed their ults to do upfront damage rather than over time that might fix it, but hten someone like Malz would be removing a good half of the target's health in one second.

Well, I think if his ult gets interrupted they should just have some cooldown refunded. Like refresh in half the time.

Honestly I'm starting to think it's not the heal they're trying to fix on her, it's the heal + knockback. I literally tried a game where a Janna saved her entire team from my wrath 3 times in a row. It's not even a skillshot, so I reckon they can't force it to be too powerful.

Yeah, it's a very potent skill, but the knockback is what I've found to me more useful (far more useful) out of it. Oh well. (EDIT: Point being, the heal wasn't what I wanted and, now that it's worse, won't care about.)

Suppression is interesting, though I think it's a slippery slope. Summoner skills is what differ LoL from DotA and HoN and Suppression is one step closer to the last mentioned. Besides, I don't see a counter to suppression. Most things in LoL is about countering the opponent, with no counter, imbalance is bound to happen.

As long as they keep Suppression to things that shouldn't be completely gimped by Merc Treads (like ultimates, for example) I think they'll be fine. Also of note was Shurelia saying that Cleanse was going to be changed to just deal with CC effects (so no more cleansing off DoTs or debuffs) while the Quicksilver Sash would keep the Cleanse effect.

It's very viable and the shield provides enough damage that you have a lot of flexibility with item builds.

We should do a shaco + janna lane next time. Shield me at level 1 and I pop elixir, I'll do around 250 ish dmg per deceive.

Now with Ez not healing, the old Soraka / Janna / Ez banlist has an open spot imo. That's either going to be Shaco or Heimerdinger, it depends on how much they nerf healing. If they keep nerfing healing, Heimerdinger for his outstanding pushing power, if they do not nerf it/buff it, Shaco for his kinky ability of suddenly removing support characters from play within 3 seconds.

My list kind of varies depending on the level of Elo we're talking about. The higher it goes, the higher Warwick and Udyr climb on my list for their crazy jungling.

Ezreal, even without healing, can kite and poke better than anyone else in the game and has a great ult for cleaning up.

Janna, sadly, is a good choice to ban too. Her support is a little weaker with the nerf to Howling Gale, and her heal has taken a couple of significant hits, but she's still a very useful champ.

Soraka is way up on the ban list as well. With four bans between the two teams, I doubt there will be very many choices for people who like to play support. Oh well.

Obviously Shaco is a great choice. Hopefully the change to Hallucination will keep him from being able to pop out of the forest and down a tower before anyone can even teleport. Stupid clone.

Heimer sounds like a good choice at first, but of those mentioned, I think he's the easiest to deal with. A couple of early/mid ganks can keep him from gearing up and if he can't push through by the late-game, he just doesn't scale as well as most other champs.

I think it'll be important to come up with good combos of lesser-used champions. The Taric/Panth combo is crazy, and who would ban either of those champs?
