Got halfway through the first Claymore episode before I was called into LoL. Going to definitely watch it.

Yup, cause I said my peace and then didn't discuss it. You know, like how I said I was gonna.

That's such bullshit.
People do that all the time and it pisses me off. It's the same as saying "with all due respect, you're a piece of shit."
Saying "I'm not going to discuss this" doesn't give you the right to say whatever the hell you want and then "not discuss it" and hold a moral high ground. If you said shit, you were discussing it. If someone really doesn't want to discuss it, they won't say anything. THAT'S not discussing something.

Ok, some people are extremely pissed over the pro-life/choice topic. This is not a topic for the Asylum, nor is anything that might be deemed as dancing around the edge. We have a forum for these discussions, and while we, at times, can loosely make brief comments to some things, this is not one of those times.
Further comments will be deleted within the Asylum.

Speaking of gory and brutal, anyone caught the airing episode of Deadman Wonderland? Also very gory and brutal.

You have CERTAINLY heard wrong. It's really immersive, the production quality is astounding and the story thus far is already crazy and intriguing.

I recorded the first episode I'll probably watch it tomorrow. It's been hyped up a lot over the last month. Up until recently I haven't really been able to get into big budget US dramas but I've been watching the first season of The Sopranos on Sky Atlantic and of course the awesome as fuck Spartacus Gods Of The Arena, so I might as well give it a try.

WSJ Wrote:The production has a satisfyingly brooding, ominous look and it's possible to see the basic appeal for role-players and other fans of a realm that provides a limitless playing field for their own imaginations. Thrones also has wolf pups, which is always cool. But then we're back to the familiar favorites of the infantile.
Yes, most of the bad reviews are basically elitest douchebags ripping on the fantasy genre.
That being said, the metacritic score is 81/100 http://www.metacritic.com/tv/game-of-thr...ic-reviews
