Yeah but there's a stark contrast between sitting there and defend and having a developed strat to defend like a few of the matches I've seen.

Kayle ult prevents you from taking damage (which is what breaks the channeling) and should make you uninterruptible while capturing for a short period.

When you have three points, you should NOT just defend. My last win basically proved why. When you have three points, the other team only needs to capture ONE point to regain the lead. However, if you had four points, the enemy would need to capture DOS pointasdostas to regain the lead. What's easier to cap, one point or two?

Offense IS the best defense on Dominion. Points should change hands almost constantly, throughout the entire game. If your opponents are capturing your point, you capture theirs. There's only a few champions where defending is a major part of their play (champs like Karthus or Heimer, who can hold off more than one champion for a long time) while the rest should be either ganking champions to prevent them from capping, or capping points and forcing them to respond.

Yep. Don't think it would be worth using to try and capture anyways. 3 seconds is not long. Best to just use it to try and block the alpha damage then win the fight before capping.

But yeah, there is part of me that enjoys pugging things like Arathi Basin and Dominion because (and this is also the cause of equal rage) pugs seem to be terrible at this type of thing. Thing is, it makes me feel like some super prodigal pro by comparison. Like, ninjaing is SO EASY.

The rage comes when I try to give people tips and they just ignore them. Like, "if their whole team is at one point, the others are undefended, go grab them". Or "Remember, pointless fights are bad when they have more points, but okay if we have more points". Earlier I tried that and one dude was like "W/E Malz" ("NO YOU SHUT UP DAD"). Of course he went 1/9 and mostly did shit like run into groups of 4 solo.

I had a terri-bad game with Jarka where our Karthus and Nidalee just refused to leave the bottom point (I don't know the names yet). Our Morde half-assed between those two and the other point closest to our base, and Jarka was forced to babysit bottom for most of the game. Needless to say, it's kind of impossible to take that windmill when you're one dude and they can occupy the rest of your team with two of their people -_-
