Hate- So I was playing MW2 last night on my 360. Some guy got pissed off with me and my buddy eddie. We were using FAL's and pretty much mercing the opposing team. Well they started yelling " Your modders no one can shoot a FAL that fast!!"

So I replied " Sorry Kid , were not modders we actually practice our trigger fingers with our clan and other clans. Im sorry you have never seen somone who actually has some legit skill without having to mod because it makes legit players like me and my friends look bad."

So the dude being the nerdy douchebag he was spots off with this

"Well dude your a modder and I know you are so Im gonna Red ring your Xbox..No wait maybe ill just fry it....and once im done im gonna hack your modem/router...so basically what that means is..you wont be using the internet or playing MW2 until i say so."

So I got kinda pissed off and was kind of worried about it because I have heard of a few cases on mw2 where kids make these threats and then some of them actually have the ability to go through with it.

Im not worried about him hacking my router cuz all I have to do is a Ip reconfig I beleive. But the thing I hate...is the fact that their are kids on all these multiplayer games as well as adults. And they get all this joy an happiness by f'ing up peoples systems. Which end up costing them 100's of dollars to repair or get a new one.

Seriously getting sick of it and seriously considering trying to find some kind of protection for my 360.

I've gotten threats like that literally dozens of times. Haven't seen anything yet.

Yeah I only know one person who can bog down my modem/router. And lucky for me he likes me an told me how to correct that issue lol

They can't physically or logically hack the hardware and blow it up. The 360 isn't that advanced. The most they'd be able to do is corrupt the firmware which would correct itself with a system flash. You can't overload someone electronically through the internet. This isn't the movies or some high tech device with actual power throttles that regulate the flow of electricity. They can DDOS your router (which is probably what he was threatening. It's the easiest thing to do) to reduce your bandwidth and make it unbearable to play, but your ISP (I think you said you have AT&T) would catch the massive increase and cut it off.

I hate work sometimes. Okay, most times. But I really hate it now.

Why no I cannot work a fucking 14 hour shift tomorrow, 3 hours after the end of the shift that runs to 5 fucking am. But I could have if you had told me A DAY AGO so that I could actually PLAN FOR IT and slept through today.

But nope. Can't get that money because I am not going to handle heavy fucking steel after being up for 24 hours already.

Thanks for putting my mind at east on the red ringing and frying. Now the DDOS is what the guy did this afternoon. He made good on his attempt to frig with me. But...Unlucky for him....

You see he did it...and as soon as I noticed what was going on I just went into my command prompt did a Ip release and then a ip reknew like a buddy of mine told me to do...And it ended as fast as it began and I have had 0 further problems...My buddy said in a nutshell i changed my ip basically or something along those lines im not to tech savy lol

The "Show Me the Money" animations are great.

Comboing from that into the Crit 50% animation, then the "Owned" special is all kinds of fun.

Can't wait to see the higher level stress releases.

What you did was make the router release your IP address killing the internet to whatever you did it on.

The way you gain the shouts is pretty neat though, I like the fact you just don't magically know dragon language.
