Julius Wairudo

Age 19
Race Human (Non-Transformer)
Location Earth
Height 5'10"
Weight 146 lbs
Living Family
  • Alice Wairudo – Sister – 19
Fighting Style Aggressive, rash charging and violent rushes.
Appearance
Quote:Thin and gaunt, Julius has been forced for years to live off the land. He has never truly been healthy, but he has never truly been sick either. He's been more in the middle. He is very tall, and has reached his peak of vertical growth at age eighteen, and is lanky and skinny, some would perhaps say scrawny. He is very fast, however, which he has gotten from his rather long legs. He's got an advantage in battles against slower opponents, because his previously mentioned long legs as well as his rather long arms allow him to be quick on the attack front and on the escape front. All in all, to describe Julius in a four words, he is thin, tall, agile, and dexterous.
Biography
Quote:Julius and his twin sister, Alice, have traveled around the North Quadrant since they passed into their teenage years -- shortly after their parents were killed. Throughout their travels, Julius learned many things about fighting, including how to harness ki energy, and how to fight, though he still is very rash when it comes to making decisions in a fight (among other decisions) and continues to be naive about his agressive tendencies. It was only recently, at eighteen, that Julius decided to separate from Alice, after they got into a harsh disagreement about a political issue on the planet they were currently on, and Julius accidentally injured Alice. He traveled back to Earth in an attempt to reevaluate himself and decide where he truly should place his loyalties.

Best Moves
  • Kinetic Wave - Using the "Kinetic Wave" technique, the fighter is able to send a wave of extensive kinetic energy outwards in all directions from their body, knocking opponents off of their feet after doing so. The downside to this technique is that it indeed does combine the user's kinetic energy with their ki energy, so the user becomes quite worn out after doing so. To perform the move, the user bends their knees, crosses their arms in an 'X' shape in front of their chests, and then quickly forms a 180-degree angle with their arms, "pushing" the kinetic energy outwards.
  • Snap, Crackle, Pop - Using the "Snap, Crackle, Pop" technique, the fighter is able to extend their arm outwards, and snap, and form a seemingly, but not truly, flaming ball of ki energy in between two of their fingers (hence the 'crackle' of the 'flaming' orb) and then proceeds to flick ('pop') it at the opponent. The energy orb travels extremely fast, but is very tiny, so upon impact, it does not do much more than bruise the opponent. However, if the fighter chooses to hold it in between their fingers longer, it can grow larger until it is strong enough to knock them backwards. However, the longer they charge it, the slower it gets, and also the more tired the user gets.
  • Lend Me Your Ears - Using the "Lend Me Your Ears" technique, the fighter is able to extend both arms outward, and from then say anything (most fighters usually choose a war cry of some sort, just to make it sound 'cooler') and the opponent's hearing will be impaired for a short period of time. The longer the fighter yells, the longer they will be impaired, up to a point where they will just go deaf for a long period of time. However, if the fighter deafens a person, the fighter himself will become deafened for twenty-four hours. It is a drawback, but sometimes an advantageous one if you are up against a slow-moving fighter who you can always keep in vision.
  • Lucky Number 8 - Using the "Lucky Number 8" technique, the fighter is able to shoot two beams of ki from their eyes (one from each eye), and then the ki will begin zig-zagging, crossing over one another to form an "8" pattern. It is a simple move, but an effective one that has almost no drawbacks except for a small loss of energy when it is used.
  • Coming of Age - Currently Julius's favorite and most powerful but most exerting technique, "Coming of Age" allows the fighter to stand completely still, and then charge up energy for an extended period of time. The stance and effect of the charging process is enough to intimidate most opponents, but oftentimes opponents that are unafraid see an opening to attack here, which is right of them. (Julius is currently working on shortening the charging process) After the charging is done, the fighter takes one hand and aims their palm at the opponent. The fighter then uses the energy to run extremely fast up to the opponent's face, shove their palm into it, and blast a huge amount of ki energy from their palm. Like said, the technique takes an extended period to charge, and it leaves the fighter so weary that they can barely move if properly exerted. If the technique is used improperly, the built-up ki energy could, if the error is drastic enough, cause the user to explode.

Should this be updated, or would you like to wait on your switch verdict?

Hmmm. I'll say leave it for now -- I'll post again if I want it updated. Thanks, Bardock.

Decided not to waste another topic.

Quote:[PROFILE: ZANGYA]

Age: 24
DOB: February 19
Race: Ader-jin (Non-Transformer)
Height: 5’1”
Weight: 104 lbs
Gender: Female
Affiliation: --
Fighting Style: Cutthroat

Appearance: Zangya is a female member of the Ader species, a non-transformer. She has greenish-blue skin and orange, flowing hair that she has let flow back flatly and straight in the back. She often ties it in a ponytail, because it extends down to her waist. She is elfin in her build, and does not look as if she is very strong. This is true—her main strengths come from her speed and her intelligence. Her eyes slant like that of a sinister creature, which reflects slightly on her personality. She also has long, pointed ears, resembling that of an elf; her arms and legs appear long considering her diminutive torso, but really they are not. Zangya stands at about five feet and three inches, and weighs in at about one hundred and eighteen pounds.

Personality: Zangya’s personality, since the betrayal of Garlic Junior, has grown dark and apathetic. Her speed and intelligence are still her most valued attributes, but the spark of hope for a better life is gone. She no longer can bring herself to trust anyone, and as such, is not trusted very well herself; she is often exiled from friendships and has just taken on a more shadowy, sinister persona since the end of Dante’s Abyss 2007. She cannot stand her life, as she believes it to be like walls closing it on her. She is very sarcastic, but knows now not to overestimate the capacity of her power, or to over or underestimate the power of anyone else. She has grown wiser, but with it, she has grown sadder. She also despises it when she is looked upon as a “damsel” because of her petite appearance, and as such, attempts to make it known that she is a strong woman.

Relationships:

Good Terms: Retane; Raspberry; Android 15; Minoshia; Murasaki

Neutral Terms: Bardock; Celipa

Bad Terms: Garlic Junior; Gokua; Pan

Best Moves (6):
  • Moon Dagger: Named for the group of assassins that Zangya had once worked for, using this technique, the Ader charges her crescent-moon-shaped dagger with her chi, and then swipes it in mid-air, sending crescent shaped slices of energy at her foe. The slices can cause either knock back, or, very rarely, cuts in the enemy. Zangya prefers this technique over many, and uses it frequently when she is in possession of her weapon.
  • Lady's Vision: This technique is another that Zangya likes - using it, she can use her eyes to lock onto a target, and then send a beam of chi from each eye which is powerful enough to slice through the strongest mountain and knock back the strongest warriors. This technique is Very useful when the opponent or target is unaware of Zangya's presence or unsuspecting of an attack. This is one of Zangya's moves, but if she overuses it, then she cannot control the direction of the eye beams.
  • Trap Shooter: A technique learned throughout her days with the mercenaries on Mercy-sei, Zangya uses this technique to conjure a large, emerald orb and then fire out of that larger orb several smaller jade orbs of energy, which then close in on her foe and home in on them, causing a near inescapable explosive effect which causes severe knock back. Zangya has recently discovered how to control the paths of these chi blasts, and so she can fire them at multiple opponents at once.
  • Armor of Screams: Zangya learned this move during the invasion of the Old Kingdom Pantheon. Amun-Ra-Horakhty bestowed it upon her when she was named Goddess of Fear, and it works in tandem with her ability to know what an opponent's greatest fear is at that particular time. Once she learns of their fear, Zangya can conjure a forcefield of black ki which takes the shape of that said fear; this shield is very powerful in a psychological sense, but in truth, it does not take much for it to be broken if attacked.
  • Solitude: Zangya has the ability to take her ki, and shape it to her will, like most fighters. However, Zangya uses this ability to her advantage with this technique -- using it, she can conjure up a "ki cage" and surround her opponent with it. The ki cage uses Zangya's ki in an attempt to 'imprison' the opponent. The cage's weakness is not easy to find, but it is that the top of the cage is completely harmless. Every other part will stun you if you try to escape.
  • Indiana Zangya: (inspired by Indiana Jones) Using this move, Zangya harnesses her ki to make a 'ki whip' and proceeds to use it like a real whip, only with it being able to cause more pain that the real thing. She cannot, however, do the cool Indiana Jones moves where he swings from place to place with it like Spiderman uses webslings. If it touches anything other than organic material, it dissipates and Zangya is injured slightly.

Abilities/Techniques:
  • Phobia Sense: During her tenure as the Goddess of Fear—when the Old Kingdom was invading, and Amun-Ra-Horakhty was enlisting warriors to retake the positions in the Old Pantheon—the leader himself bestowed upon many different techniques that would allow them different forms of advantages in battle. Being the Goddess of Fear, Zangya was given a technique called “Phobia Sense,” which allows her to see the greatest fear of anyone she likes. However, this move takes much energy, as Zangya has not practiced it in a long while.

After stumbling upon one of my old posts, I remembered that I had set Zangya's age to twenty back then, so now her age should be listed as 21. Sorry about that. Oh, and also, up at the top where it has her name, if the problem could be fixed of the extra bracket there. Sorry, it's irking my nerves.
