What are the penalties for a character switch?

The period in which we allowed a free custom switch has expired, and the official penalty for switching is now 20 TP. That’s right, not -25 to every stat, but 20 Training Points, or taking away stats that are equivalent to 20 Training Points (see below for the new stat changes).

And, also, you can only switch to a custom. Since you're the last owner of Gokua, that means he's yours now, and no one else can take him, but if you do switch, make sure its someone you can live with for a long time.

In the link that Jinpo provided it also states that I can switch back to Gokua, but only once.

Thing is, we don't want people to switch to a custom, and give up on them after like, two weeks, and not even give it a chance to really develop. That's why I said that up there. And I know about the switch thing. I was just trying to offer some advice.

Yeah. I'm switching from my established Gokua to a custom that I am truly uncertain on. However, I want the challenge. I plan on switching to a custom character that's mute. And, at least for me, the purpose of switching characters isn't always about losing interest in my current one, but rather wanting to challenge myself.

If you don't have the stored TP immediately available, you go into negative TP. All this means is that you can't do anything except store TP until you're out of the red.

Thank God! Bardock locked the Character Switch thread in the update forum, but those are basically how my stats will look. Along with the name change to "Aero" that's all I should need.

I'm not sure what's going on...one of your roster stats is 30 TP more than what you posted, and Bardock is right, you should be -20 stored TP, we don't take the 20 from stats. I changed your name, but I'm not sure what to do.

Just take 20SP from my strength and put it into Insight. Other than that, keep the stats the same.

Ok here's whats gonna happen. I assume what you did was like as if you never converted, and you took out 20 TP for your switch.

20 TP = 5 SP with your rank.

So I'm gonna let you keep the stats you posted, and stored TP will be -15.
