This whole zombie infection world event going on right now for the leadin to Wrath is awesome. I'm loving getting turned into a zombie and then running into town by the bank and infecting people as they run by or doing a corpse explosion to turn all the people at the bank. And then watching guards get turned, and then the leaders of towns, players, etc. Its awesome to do.

this is awesome. The disease is becoming harder and harder to get removed, and the timer is shortened. Also "Plagued Residents" and "Plagued Roaches" and stuff are in all the major cities now. Supposedly a new Karazhan boss is going to be put in also for the event.

They keep adding more to it to progress it every day, like its becoming harder to cleanse, and in some cases attempts at cleansing it only increase how fast it works, things like that.

THAT. That is fucking annoying. I went to do some BGs the other night. I really wanted to play them, since BGs have been working on and off since the new patch and I really want to get my PVP shoulders before WotLK. Some pricks have infected and subsequently killed the BG masters.

Oh, and the zombie thing gets boring after about half an hour.

I just wanted to quest with my bf last night, we were having an up and down day, so we log into Org to get ready to go to Shat for the night. Zombies everywhere, and we both keep getting infected. Run to corpse, get infected, run to corpse, get infected. Plus, they moved the healer so we couldn't find him (know where he is now).

How is it fun when 6 level 60's go and zombie up a level 5 starting area? My bf was trying to rep quest and the zombies killed all the NPC's and were killing the low level players. It's not fun at all, I wouldn't do it.

The zombie thing was nice, but now it's getting rediculous. Now I'm afraid to log in for fear of being turned, and having to die just to get back to normal. Worst event I've seen by far.

The NPCs respawn really quickly though. The bankers were only dead for 60 seconds.

That's all I fucking hear from people that don't like this event. I mean seriously, if you're that against just having a laugh right before the expansion, just fucking stop playing until the event is over if it really bothers you that much. Somewhere along the way these guys forgot that this is a game, not a job.

Or better yet, just go to a city OTHER THAN ORGRIMMAR/IRONFORGE. There are other fucking cities, you know. I've been to Silvermoon a fair bit since this event started (running around before ZA runs lawl), and I've yet to see it lose bankers or auctioneers.

Watching your character fly from one city to another is fucking boring.

EDIT: I agree with Bra. Events are all fun and good as long as they don't get in the way of the fun and good people are paying for.

I heard more complaints than anything, Bella, so the enjoyment for this event is very minimal.

Also, it enables assweeds to PVP on people on PVE servers, so my guild mates mentioned that this would have been a lot better on a PVP server.

Regardless, I intend on staying away from cities until this is done.
